Jack White Park Trailhead reviews
18Nice place.there's a spot for fishing.im guessing its pretty safe.lol.there's police on the premises.so yeah get ur jog on.
Love this bike trail! Clean and well cared for. Stewards very helpful, caring and friendly! Highly recommend.
Place could use a touch up pretty dead place has potential though stock with fish and add a nice pier would be awesome. Good thing trail and ranger station within a couple feet #SAPD
You have to cross frontage road to get to the other side of the trail. The trail is not enclosed. They do have trail monitors I did not feel safe
I enjoy riding from here to Southside Lions Park and back so much. Thank you San Antonio for putting in the Greenbelt. Woohoo! #stayfitat50
Awesome place to have lunch and walk the trail afterwards. Go by the pond and watch fish swim by.
Loved the trails here, it's extremely shady and perfect for long walks with our pup although it does look more designed for bike rides. You run into multiple parks (depending on how far you go) and most of them have restrooms and water fountains. Will definitely go again!
Nice trailhead with plenty of parking. Having to cross three roads, two of which are fairly busy, in order to get to the vast majority of the trail can be annoying but once you get past those roads, it's fine.
Nice trailhead with access to the southern extension of the Salado Creek Greenway. Smallish parking lot, but doesn’t fill up too much. It’d be nice if San Antonio Medical Center and Fort Sam Houston would get with program and allow access to the northern part of the trail from this park.
Great scenery and a great shaded place tuo bike got 13 miles in. This is the very start of the trail. The trail ends on the south east side of town on pecan Valley Rd. The trail head has lots of bike tools and a manual air pump.
This is an awesome trail. The best in 102 degree weather, I believe it is the most shade trail and riding in warm weather is the best in South Texas. There is a lake at one end for fishing and grills for BBQing and Grady's BBQ for dinner at the other end. FAV
This park and it's trails are so beautiful the scenery is breathtaking and you can travel from Jack White located on Binz Engleman all the way to South Side Lines on Pecan Valley and even further. I plan on riding through the entire trail on weekend since you can get around pretty quickly on a bicycle.
Its a nice paved trail, only thing is having to cross under Ih35n to get to the other side of the trail. Other than that it's nice. Great place to jog or bike ride.
Glad I found this place to run, probably ran on it a good 20 times now and havent had any problems.
Great biking and walking trail. Found this by accident when on another walk but it is very tranquil and worth your time if your near.
It's off the beaten path plenty of oak trees for shade parking lot is very secure it being next to a police substation
A great place to start your ride or casual walk. It's located at Park Police substation where several officers and trail employees are visually present.
Great place to jump on the south end of the Salado Creek trail. Porta-johns available and there's always parking available. Somewhat secluded and close to Ft Sam. The trail goes about 8 miles south and passes by a lot of pretty areas and several parks.
