-updating from a 1 star to a 3 star because they were quickly able to resolve the issue when we made it into the store
The sales associate Kalee was told busy looking over at- I guess her mom- and did a special order under someone else's name so now that person is getting the $60 ring my husband bought me.
We are furious and will be in tomorrow to have this fixed

Have been to several James Avery locations. This one has very unhappy employees. No one greeted me and I felt like they were racist. A couple after me was helped before me, maybe cause they were white and I was Hispanic. But sadly my 2 teenage daughters felt the Same way I felt. I still purchased just cause it was one of my daughters birthday and she wanted a few charms. But after this purchase I won’t be back again.

I went to pick up my bracelet after getting a new charm and when I dropped it off I noticed that I had lost two charms the loops of the actual charm not the jump hoops (I haven’t had my bracket for long). This time I just politely asked like what could it have caused and how to fix it and was helped by two very nice employees who went to see what we could do. However the manager Liz was talking very loudly from the back saying it wasn’t her issue and it was just wear and tear, which is understandable, however I was talking to the employees about another charm that looked like it was about to fall off too. Liz comes up with a very disrespectful attitude talking to other employees about how it was my fault and question why I was still there. One of the employees that was helping me looked over and told her to stop.

Visited the jewelry shop as a new customer, but was not treated very respectfully by the consultant that was helping me. I know James Avery has a reputation of being overly nice and respectful to customers, but this experience definitely push me to not go back. I ended up buying the ring I wanted but was surprised I wasn't told about other features, or things the store offers for customers. Overall not the best customer service experience, as a fellow hospitality worker myself it was a bit sad to see, I believe no matter what we should always be kind to others because kindness goes along way, I was overly kind to the consultant but unfortunately it was not reciprocated. Very beautiful ring, not a beautiful experience and will not be back for more jewelry in store. Happy Holidays though!

Here lately every time we have came to this James Avery to make a purchase the staff has been very rude, and snub you like they’re better than you. It used to not be this way. If they don’t want to work then that’s fine I will take my money else where. It would be appreciative if they showed some mutual respect.

Please read before taking your bracelet to add charms!
I took my bracelet to get a charm added. They told me it would be ready the next following day after 5pm. My bracelet had 9 different charms before the one I was bringing to put on. When I go in to pick up my bracelet they bring out a whole different bracelet that only has 2 charms. I right away make it clear to them that this is not my bracelet. They then proceeded to tell me they gave it to the wrong person with the same name as me. Then told me they were going to try to get it back. I gave them time to get it back and they told me that they person that took it was going to mail it back. Well I’ve yet to get my bracelet back. And when I asked if I was going to receive any form of compensation they told me no, since that was a District manager decision only. So not only did they hand my bracelet out to a complete stranger, they yet to give me another bracelet or get my original bracelet back. They have also not called me to give me updates on the bracelet I’ve had to call them. I don’t understand how you can give a whole bracelet out to a random stranger when we are supposed to be asked for a receipt when coming to pick up our bracelet. What is the point of bringing in a receipt and an ID if you are just going to hand out bracelets to random people.

Had an AWESOME experience at James Avery today. I brought in my charm bracelet with another charm bracelet I had gotten as a gift with charms already soldered on. When I talked to Renay, she told me they could solder the charms on to my charm bracelet and let me return the extra chain I had been gifted. This bracelet was almost a year old but it still had the tag on and was in perfect condition! Returning the chain paid for the fee of resoldering charms to my charm bracelet and I had enough store credit to get a ring Renay helped me pick out as well. Great customer service!

Posting this review on 12/21 for context.

Hard to believe that the best they can do for a $200 pair of earrings is a plastic bag. This was a last minute purchase as a Christmas gift and ordered online for pickup in store (perhaps this was my fault for waiting so long). Having had several hours from the time they confirmed my order "ready for pickup" I had expected the item to be ready to go by the time I arrived at the store. Unfortunately this was not the case. I could see the employees scrambling to find the earrings that I had ordered. When unable to do so, they pulled the display set from the case.

The employee seemed a little flustered but had a great attitude and even helped me solve a small clerical issue, A+ here. I'm usually very impressed with the service and products from James Avery, however this store did not seem well managed or have a handle on the basics. Overall, the very disappointed with the experience.

I love the products I have purchased but I was met at the door by Vanessa like I was there to rob the place. I asked her do I have to stand at the door to get service. I was the only customer. I live walking distance from this store but I'd rather drive to Mansfield where the staff is welcoming and Linda was rude as well. The only one at this store that is nice is Denise. Everyone else walks in and was not bothered. Wish I had went to Mansfield today as well because Denise wasn't in. Very disappointing.
