Is extremely understanding to my stomach issues. He is very attentive. He answers all your questions. Knowledge and understanding, I’m glad I choose Dr. Maher.

Dr. Maher does a great job asking the right questions to figure out what is going on. I felt confident that his diagnosis was thought out and correct. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this office for your gastroenterologist needs.

Dr Maher is a very thorough, experienced doctor. His office is the most efficient doctor office I have ever been to.

I have been with Dr. Maher since 2016. When I came to him I was extremely ill and didn’t know exactly what I had until my diagnosis. He has walked me through this and has been amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his field. He has seen me through several colonoscopies and hospitalizations. When in the hospital he has always taken good care of me and has made sure everyone else did too. His staff is amazing! Cesar and the ladies in the front are incredible! When I have suddenly not felt well, they have taken care of me immediately. They are organized, clean and always make me feel welcomed. Just the nicest people. I highly recommend!

I came in with with a severe case of acid reflux I was not even able to get any sleep, Dr Maher was very understanding and professional and provided with the diagnose I needed to address my issue few weeks later the reflux episodes are gone, I can get my sleep now and enjoy the foods I missed for so long

Dr. Maher took the time to explain my situation and answer my questions. I liked that I saw the doctor and not a PA.

My mother got refered to Dr. James by a friend that has been his patient for several years. My mom has a strong history of colon cancer in her family and she was looking for a doctor that could do her colonosopy. That is how we end up going to Dr. Maher's office.
My mother was very nervous at the begining but after Dr. James sat with her and explained the procedure and what to expect. She felt more comfortable.

Has been a couple of months since she had the procedure an she has been doing great. Is going to be neessary for her to repeat the procedure in 3 years and She already told me that she wants Dr.to perform that second colonosopy. That means, we ae coming backon 2023!

Dr Maher is amazing although his staff specifically the receptionists very rude.when I had an issue with her and ended up speaking with someone else and got the issue resolved when I showing up she rolled her eyes and said I know who you are just have a seat well call you when ever we’re ready

First, I do not right many reviews. You can clearly see. But this one is so important for me to write because I think Dr. Maher was the only Dr who cared and listened to me. He was my 4th GI Dr. All the others just kept doing the same but he actually stepped outside the box and suggested something different. He gave me a safe space to talk about my "symptoms" and would see me the same day when no one else would. The Memorial Herrman Hospital referred me to him back in September during an ER visit and they were 100% correct when they said he is the best. He listens. He cares. Out of all the 30 plus doctor's that have been bouncing me around he is by far the best one. I thank him for it. His staff have been incredible too. Seeing a patient cry and in fear because she is in pain and doesn't know what is wrong can be scary but no once did they make me feel anything but normal and SAFE. It helped keep my spirits up. I can not recommend him enough to anyone who needs help. If you are not well after seeing your doctor, I would suggest scheduling an appointment with him.

After wasted 6 months of multiple visits and multiple tests and procedures he was frustrated and unable to determine a solution to my problem.
