We have had an absolutely fantastic experience with the James Wood service center! Came in for our first oil change and maintenance, and everything was done with the highest level of professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy. The team comes with my highest recommendation, and while we hope we won't need much maintenance, we will definitely make James Wood our go-to place for routine maintenance and car repairs. Special kudos to our Service Specialist Samantha and the Service Manager Brandon. True professionals!
They will take forever to fix your car. And it was the most expensive place I have ever seen in my life. Communication is very poor.
We were in for a recall, and they tried to charge us for the work. I mentioned that, and they corrected it. They did offer a shuttle service, though effective it was not timely.

We have had a similar issue with our vehicle 3 times within 3 months. The inspection report was different each time. One states we needed new cabin filters after having it replaced 2 days prior to bringing it in. Another stated we needed something with our battery fixed. Mind you, it broke down again 2 weeks late, and we didn't fix what they said was wrong with the battery connection. And the new one doesn't say a thing about a battery. I take our two trucks to James Woods for oil changes, tire rotation, state inspections, and any issues that we may have, which has been mostly recall issues and changing parts due to normal wear. I've always been satisfied with their level of service, and their pricing for these basic services are very competitive. I had my wife's truck there this past Monday, and they asked if I would like to have the truck washed. During the pandemic, the wash rack was often closed, so it's great to see that it's open again. For the basic services I mentioned I usually wait in the customer lounge area where they have very comfortable chairs, a good TV, free coffee and water as well as a few free food items like granola bars and breakfast bars. There are also several vending machines available for snacks and soft drinks. They usualky haveca large selection of magazines and news papers available. They also have a very nice bathroom nearby. If the truck needs to be there longer, they do have a free shuttle that will take you where you need to go within Denten County. I've used it several times to get back home. When the truck is ready for pick up, they will call, and you can ask for the shuttle to come and pick you up and bring you back to the autopark. Anytime you make an appointment for service, they assign one of their Service Coordinators to your vehicle. This person ensures that your vehicle is service according to your instructions and requests and will keep you advised of any issues their 100 point inspection may uncover (such as a dirty cabin air filter) and provide you with enough information so you can decide what you want to do about it. These Service Coordinator's are a big reason I've got a lot of confidence in James Woods GMC and Chevrolet service.
I've never had an issue purchasing or with service. I always feel taken care of and typically have the same car care manager take care of me in service. I'll be a buyer here forever unless we end up moving from the area. Hopefully, some of the bad reviews were one-offs.

Took my truck for repair. They end up totaling truck but they had broke back spoiler cap on the tailgate. When I pick up truck I ask Jeff what happened to back spoiler cap and he said it’s in the back just glue it. So they broke all the claps and now collision manager says you got a settlement for your truck. Yes for the way we took it not with you doing more damage. Absolutely horrible service. In a month a a half never got updates and when I called they said yes your suppose to get updates but we are very busy! Looks like I’ll be sticking to Huffines! ’
They repaired my Honda Pilot's left rear quarter panel, and the bill came in under insurance estimates. The work looks showroom new and everyone there was super helpful and friendly.

They really do have something for every budget. This was the last place I tried and after showing my wife the car I found for her, we drove away in an older dealer serviced car with every option she wanted. We also took advantage of their in house car warranty which alivieated the anxiety associated with buying a used car. Couldn't be happier. I'd also like to say I did not haggle as the price was so good.
Noah, our sales guy, was great! Super knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. The manager, however, is ridiculous. Wouldn't honor the pricing offered online, on their website.their pricing. Wouldn't honor it.

I encourage anyone and everyone NOT to bring your car to James Wood Collision Center. I would not recommend this repair center.
For context: Moderate level of repairs $7k - which does not constitute much damage these days … cost of repairs add up quick: (minimal body work, rims, brakes) - ran over something on the highway that caused some tire/wheel brake damage. James Woods has had my truck for 4 weeks - with no end in sight. It has been pulling teeth to get any type of meaningful updates. Communication is poor. Today, I learned that they finally have the parts (after 4 weeks). Repairs will start after five weeks of my truck sitting in their shop. For a month I have been asking for an approximate ETA - which I have not received. Despite numerous requests, I am told they cannot even give me an approximate ETA. I am literally helpless to rectify the situation … with no end date or commitment in site. They are basically holding my truck hostage with no recourse. At this point, I can’t even take it anywhere else - and they know that. I am at their mercy with no accountability and no commitment. I mean, who tells their customer, I am keeping your car here as long as I want to and I am not going to give you any time estimate as to when you will get it back. We’ll call you, don’t call us.
