3A beautiful spot for remembrance. It is hard to be there and NOT think about the images from that day now 26 years ago.
Its a great ballpark and playground, has batting cages available between the fields and two playgrounds in one, one designed for smaller kids and one for larger kids. They are both in the same area side by side so parents can easily keep an eye on groups if they do not always play together. My daughter loves the burr oak acorns that fall everywhere. Only real complaint is that the bathrooms are never open, likely reserved for baseball or softball games. There is also an area large enough with benches to host a small group of people.
Love that this park has shade! It’s a nice little park in town if you don’t feel like driving all the way to Round Rock or Georgetown. It’s very well kept and has trash cans all over the place to make sure we keep it clean.
