Restaurant Jason's Deli reviews
17I ordered a southwest chicken bowl to go and when i got to the house the sauce was completely open: (
I ordered an ultimate BLT for my daughter, she loves their sandwiches. I love the quiet unassuming atmosphere. Service is always great.
Food is great staff is excellent highly recommend for an outing or event they have a party room
I eat at a few different Jason’s but the Longview location is by far the best,
The food is pretty much the same at all the locations but the workers and the manager make the Longview location makes it the best.
Best place to make your own salad! The salad bar has everything you need to make a complete salad.
They always keep it clean. The managers are always attentive of the store and the customers.
Had a sandwich delivered, took an hour. I live literally around the corner from Jason's Deli. It was horrible, can't even eat it. You should refund my money, you can even come pick up this nasty sandwich. I won't do it again. I wish there was less than one star.
Always great food! The salad bar is the best in Longview, Texas. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Way, way too expensive. $13 for an improperly prepared Ruben, $6.99 for a cup, not a bowl, of chicken noodle soup, $9.89 for the salad bar and, get this, $2.89 for a $. 25 Coke. Much too expensive. If they were a high end deli with extraordinary food there prices might be justified. Even with the current inflationary costs, a glass of Coke shouldn’t be $2.89
My daughter and I went for lunch today and it was terrific! We had the salad bar and a cup of tomato basil soup and broccoli cheese soup! Absolutely delicious!
I went in and purchased the big Pollo Mexicana potato and it was just a big dry potato without very much pico, cheese nor butter and then when I asked for ranch dressing, I was told that I couldn’t have any from the bar. For $11 the potato was big but it was just a big dry potato.
Honest question. How is this place still in business? I haven't eaten here in about 10 years. I decided to try it again yesterday.
The lady taking our order was masked up. I could barely understand what she was saying. COVID is over folks. Masks don't work anyway.
My muffaletta came out cold, my broccoli cheese soup was as thick as pudding and luke warm at best. My GF ordered blue chips and queso with her sandwich. They brought out ruffles.
Newks or McAlister's from now on for me.
I used to love this place! Now, I just hope the next visit is better than the last every time I go. It seems like they’re understaffed and can’t keep up because I’m given the “it’s been so busy” excuse when I do online orders and end up waiting an additional 20-30 minutes past the pickup time. This has happened more than once and it’s unfortunate because this place can’t be an option for someone on a limited time lunch break. Also, the salad bar seems to be getting slimmer…. Like not as many items as there used to be that made the salad bar so enjoyable.
I'm obsessed with their chicken salad croissant right now. Everything I have tried from here has tasted homemade and delicious in every way possible. The interior is beautiful but a tad dark inside.
My kids and I came here for lunch.
I ordered the spicy seafood gumbo which according to their website gives this description:
Our spicy seafood gumbo is made with a traditional roux, fresh fish, wild Gulf shrimp, real okra, onions and bell peppers. Topped with rice and parsley
Sounds great, except my bowl, and one of my kid's cup of it had zero shrimp.none.not even pieces of shrimp. It was just the roux, okra, onion, bell pepper and rice.
THAT was highly disappointing as it was what I ordered for my meal.and the presentation of the soul in the bowl with the soup all around the edges wasn't appealing visually. A simple wipe of the napkin would have done wonders for presentation
Both my kids ordered the managers special with a sandwich and soup. They enjoyed their sandwiches.
Based on our experience today, I'm not sure if we would back or not.especially not for gumbo with zero meat
The soups always seem to have too much salt in them but the rest of the food is great! Staff is always friendly and efficient! The main downside to this location (and why I don’t come here as often as I’d like) is the cramped parking lot. Not their fault by any means but park further out if you don’t want dents and dings on your vehicle!
