Met Dr. Akhter at Baptist hospital over the weekend while admitted. He has a presence about him, an aura. Not surprised by all the good reviews. You can tell he’s a superstar in his profession.

I have been seeing this doctor over a year and I was in bad shape but now I’m healthier and maybe coming off the insulin soon, my A1C was not even on the chart and now it’s a 6, he’s a doctor who can get healthy good results

Dr. Akter is an excellent doctor, but there was some things I didn't understand when he said my kidney function went down. I don't know if it's in another stage or not. But everything else was fine.

My experience at Dr. Akhter's office was a very pleasant one from the time I entered the office. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, the LVN and the doctor. I’m a 52yrs old African-American woman who have type2 DIABETES. The first visited with Dr. Jaweed Akhter, MD I thought like this will be like all the other doctors that I have been to. But to be honest I must say I was so impress with the talk and how he knew just what to do and just how much he listen to me. Now my A1’s is down and I also have lost weight.
