A great " greasy spoon " type of place. But, the beer is cold the staff is nice and the food is good. A great place to just have a beer with the guys or a family meal.

Did girls lunch, had a great time. Food very good and fresh. Plan on having girls lunch there, January, prices good. Margaritas excellent.

Allow me to tell a story of how a perfect evening turned bad in less than 1 min. First time visiting Jax, ordered food & drinks. Food was delicious from what we got to taste. As we went back to the bar to order a 2nd round of drinks as we were enjoying the music, ALL OF OUR FOOD GOT THROWN AWAY! UNFKNBELIEVABLE! Never again will we attend Jax!

Well my first visit here! Freezing inside so bring a sweater. I ordered chicken strips with gravy and mashed potatoes. I've had worse before, so that's a compliment. Chicken strips were barely hot since they seemed to have been cooked prior to my order. The mashed potatoes is straight out of the cookbook that geriatric centers use that calls for no salt or seasoning. The gravy must be powdered, it just tasted bland and also not very warm. I was excited to try this place but I’m not impressed or remotely satisfied. I'm sure that some will like this place, I did not really care for the bland precooked chicken. I was hoping for a hot lunch that was freshly prepared.

I had the special. Mesquite Pork Chops! Deeelicious! Evelia was very nice and reserved space for me and my co-workers on the patio. We had a great time in a great space! We'll definitely be going back!

Good my first time there as a great place musical swell and the food was good selection be looking forward to come again

Celebrated our Anniversary here last night. I love Jax! Great live music, great food variety and seasoned well. Friendly staff and security. Always a guaranteed great time.

I have been going for a very good and affordable lunch at Jax for the past 20 years. It has always had a good and varied menu and a 2-5 minute wait for any meal.

Great atmosphere, great Service, great food, Awesome live band! Very fun and welcoming atmosphere, its definitely a new regular spot for me!

Great food great drinks great people to hang out with a very nice place to chill missing a zydeco live zydeco band that is thanks to my aunt my cousin and her daughter I had a blast for my birthday thanks Jax's for showing such a wonderful time

I ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings. Burger was basic, no flavor and seemed like a preformed frozen pattie. Onion rings were good. Inside is dark and blah. I haven’t been here in many years and now remembering why.

Used the meeting room area for a small gathering. I ordered chicken fried steak the size of Texas but ended up stealing all my friends yummy queso and quesadillas. Like how they leave togo boxes abd stuff out to lake it easy but nobody busted the table while we were in there and maybe we should have asked or something it's counter order so that may have been the issue. Did enjoy the amount of space we had and o don't believe there was a charge for it and everyone could go order what they wanted which was better than confusing a waiter with a group of 15 ppl.

Great Employees Management & Service! The Food is Amazing! They have the Best Cooks! Jax's makes Big Juicy Burgers! If you love seafood? Fried or Grilled? Personally I used to love the Trout dinner until I went plant based! The Fish & Shrimp is the best in town! Jax's also have great desserts and drinks! The Weekend! Prepare yourself for Live Performed Zydeco Music! The list goes on! With a price you can afford! So bring the whole family! If you haven't been to Jax's you haven't been anywhere! Oh Boy your family will LOVE THIS PLACE! See you there!

The experience was great, but keep a eye out on your receipt I was charged for 5 drinks and I only had 4 and when I called and spoke to a manager (she) said I want to believe you, but the manager that was on that night I'll have him to call you. No call back yet. But I was charged $47 for 5 drinks and only had 4. It was only 4 of us, so all the drinks wasn't mine and the bar tender he had a attitude.

So the bartenders are everything. The drinks are sooooo delicious. The Hennessy Margaritas & the Skittles were on point each & every time. The parking was not the best but u guess that’s why it’s encouraged to get there early. The south western egg rolls are so bomb. The bbq wings were delicious as well. The fish could be a little better seasoned but the fried shrimp were juicy & flavorful. The ambience is everything as well.

Had a Jax burger and fries. The burger was very very good. Not only could I taste the various condiments (pickle, lettuce, tomato, mustard. But unlike the grease pit known as Mc Donald's and the garbage dump known as Burger King. Yes GARBAGE DUMP!
I could actually taste the all beef patty. Cooked over Mesquite wood. Absolutely delicious. The aroma and flavor of the beef is awesome.
Fries need work. Served hot and fresh unlike the aforementioned garbage dumps. But the individual french fries were small and broken. This is a result of either tossing the frozen bag on the ground to break frozen fries loose from one another, or packaged that way at the factory. Would I consider going back again. No.
No need to consider it. I definitely will be visiting again.
