JCI-James Coney Island (Woodlands) reviews
16I love their sliders! Just the right amount of hamburger and cheese. The sauteed onions are a yummy topping. Plus, the bun isn't soggy. The onion rings are well seasoned, and the breading doesn't fall off. Perfect fast food!
Coney Island is my go to place for hot dogs. Everytime I am in the area gotta grab a few originals with extra onions. This last time I tried the freto pie too. It was also good. The original with mustard, chili & onions will keep me coming back. The place was clean and staff friendly.
Fast friendly service and all the yummy deliciousness that you have come to expect from this well known Houston restaurant.
This location is clean and service is prompt and friendly. Me and my son got the Nolan Ryan sliders. Delicious. If your thinking about going to KFC across the street, skip that hell hole and give James Coney Island a try!
Always loved JCI but this location is one of the best in Houston, great service and always clean and food is out quickly
They take a little longer but it’s always worth the wait cause your food is actually hot and fresh. Out of all the fast food restaurants in this area, I’ve never had an issue in my 2 years of being over here. They have great customer service, always get my order right and their food is pretty good.
I'm giving 3 stars because usually this JCI in the Woodlands is really great but I don't know what happened. My hotdogs were yellowish, not pink. My buns has really soggy spots. I just ended up eating 3/4 of the buns. It just didn't taste right either. I'm hoping it was just a fluke/off day. I was very disappointed.
Good Detroit style Coney dogs watch out for the plain "Coney" dogs there's only mustard relish onions on the dog no chili sauce.
JCI in The Woodlands has really stepped up their game. The food here is good for fast food. Sometimes we stop by just for the sweet tea!
First time here. Did not like it at all. Meat in hot-dogs was tin like a pencil.a lot of break, which was wet, not toasty.
Sonic and Freddy's hot-dog are far superior and much less expensive.clean restaurant. Very nice staff.just not to my personal liking.
The cleanliness of this JCI is sub par in the kitchen area. Myself and another guest were given our food, both trays our plates were on had food and grease from the previous use.
When I asked the counter guy wendel and the counter lady Flori, they said they just worked here. I didnt understand why they had such a poor response to why the trays were dirty.
Here we are amidst a covid pandemic and the customer should be able to trust the restraunts to clean the eating utensils.
The seating area appeared clean.
Also to note I asked to talk to a manager and no one ever came to talk to me.
Lastly, the vibration food notification picks should be wiped down and sanitized between use also.
I love the patty melt it’s wonderful.
The restaurant is clean with good customer service. It doesn’t take long from placing my order until my order is ready.
I had a Chicago Dog and a New York Dog today. This place is great! The Ice tea was very fresh and refreshing. Give it a try!
My order was wrong and they wouldn't even answer the phone. I do not live that close so was hoping at least if I could call ahead and they could have the missing coneys ready and after multiple attempts, they hang up.
Terrible
I love this place the food is awesome I eat here every chance I get.in two days they have $. 97 counties but I came today and paid full price. JCI is a Houston tradition. My wife got the burger and it wasn’t really good. Didn’t send it back but I should have. Still ain’t taking away 5 stars cause I love the hotdogs, and the Houston Tradition.
