17Nice clothes at a reasonable price. Have gotten clothes from jcpenny since I was a kid. And will continue to shop here.
I was really passed on this visit go Penny's. Just got out of hospital in ICU stopped by to look at dinner rings. The sales lady who briefly helped me took the ring I wanted and said she could get me a better price on the ring and asked me to wait where I was and she'd get a new or better price on the ring.
Well 27 minutes later I went looking for her because she never came back. Another woman asked the sales lady if she wanted her to help me and she said no. She had 5 other people who were all together, helping them instead of me. She never came back, never offered an apology, just nothing. JUST shouldn't do that to any customer. I had cash or card it didn't matter but she just pretty much blew me off while still carrying the dinner ring I wanted. I walked out and don't think I'll retirn
It is HOT as hell in this store. Turn on some damn ac and people will shop. Won’t be back until January…. Maybe.
Found some shoes for my daughter. Spent more than I wanted but hard to find womens shoes in 11.
Very clean and organized. Staff were smiling and very helpful. Prices were reasonable. Staff was always smiling. Did not bother you.
Would give negative stars if I could! They never shipped my order, then when they refunded my order they wanted to only refund the product and not the shipping (which since nothing shipped, common sense would tell you to refund that as well). Received the refund but it was not for the total paid and since they only hire off-shore reps who dont have a basic understanding of the English language, I did not get my full refund. Basically they stole my money since I did not receive my item (and I only ordered 1 thing) and they did not refund me in full. JCPenney is already going under, help make them go completely out of business so they stop stealing from people!
I got the worst most uneven haircut of my life which was much shorter and not even close to what I asked for. I went back and gave the stylist a chance to fix it but she cut my hair even shorter and it is STILL UNEVEN! I have called multiple times and can not get a hold of anyone as I would either like my hair fixed or my money back! Update- I did speak to a manager and I was refunded. She said the young lady will also be re trained.
Shrill in the jewelry department was extremely pleasant and gave excellent customer service.
They will not honor clearance rack items. Manager is wack and won’t honor stickers or the racks. I would give negative stars if I could.

Air conditioner is broken, there is one cashier in the entire store and is apparently helping ladies try on shoes in front of the register before they buy them instead of back in the shoe department. I just came for some jeans but I'll happily go to academy
Looks like a garage sale and hard to find anyone to check out. Sad because I used to love shopping there
They have come a long way. We still need a little bit more variety in women's clothing and shoes.
Glad to see my sentiments are shared by many. This store needs some very serious work or it might be time for it to go. In the Summer and Fall the AC isn’t doing it’s job and leaves the space very humid and unpleasant. In the Winter it was frigid in there and during all seasons there is a constant presence of mildew stench.
Half the store (or more) was dedicated to ill-organized clearance and the Sephora shell is on brand for where JCP seems to be going.
Very slow workers. Only 1 lady was at register while everybody else chit chatting and hanging out
Although really crowded & long lines at the checkout, employees were very nice in a difficult situation. The other shoppers not too nice. Would have loved it if wasn't so crowded and my knees hurt.
