I had a scheduled appointment, and had to wait over an hour. I was hoping to get my newborn taken while sleeping but due to the wait we weren’t unable too. The photographer was nice but unfortunately the pictures weren’t great. I wanted to cancel my order right after I placed it but the studio did not offer a refund. The overall experience was unpleasant.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very easy to find and not crowded. They have great precautions for COVID and everything was neat and clean. Awesome prices too. There is also a restroom close by just in case. The photographer was wonderful. She took her time, she asked questions and she double checks each photo to make sure no one blinked or moved out of place. The photo review they set up was amazing. I highly recommend an appointment for faster service and a shorter wait. I will certainly be back.

I am pretty insecure about my appearance and how I look in pictures, but my photographer, Nick, was very uplifting, had lots of good advice, and made me look beautiful. Being able to see a photo of myself and love how I look is priceless, and I can't thank you enough!

I come to this location a couple times a year for portraits and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The coupons available on the website offer a great value.

I was hoping for a more professional staff, my photographer took rushed photos, because if the phone rang she'd have to stop taking my photo to go answer the phone. It was very clear that during my scheduled time, it was very important that the phone was answered. I wasn't directed as to what to do during the session to make the photo the best as possible such as something simple as to "adjust/pull down my dress", turn to the left/right, or smile. I had to ask her to take different posses. It was a hot mess, but the qualify of the photos were good. Additional staff and training would be great for this location.

I purchased a groupon for jcpenny and was amazed at the customer service I received from this studio. Even though my package wasnt a large or expensive one they took the time to sit with me, show me my options and place an order. We took Christmas photos and I know it was a hectic day but our photographer was so patient and sweet with my children, husband and myself. I will definitely be back to the Woodlands JcPenny photo studio!

The staff are not professional. Two of my kids wasn’t smiling or looking at the camera for every picture. I didn’t once here them try to convince them to smile or say look at the camera. I will never go back

No Matter what time of year you will still have to wait over a hour past your schedule time this place sucks

My shoot was rushed! He literally took 7 shots. First he took 3 but i didn't like them so he took 4 more and said i had to choose from the 7 i had because he had another appointment (that never came). We didn't even have a selection of poses. Go to JC PENNEY they're way better.

Just had my family photos done the staff was amazing and accommodated a few extra family members we are a blended family and this was first time we were all together for our first complete family photo and the product was perfect which is hard for me to say because im a photographer and very hard to please and picky when i tell you our photographer was a super star Maysun is a true gem and i hope to see her work in the look book at the studio thank you jcp portraits for giving my family the best gift ever

This was the worst customer experience I have ever dealt with. I don’t usually post reviews but this is to let y’all know this location is a waste of time, energy, and money. Me and my friend got there on her daughter’s first birthday to have her photoshoot and they told us it would be half an hour. We waited that, plus another hour and no one spoke to us even once to let us know what was going on. When we let them know we were leaving, they were rude and unaccommodating. How unprofessional! If you care about your time, or money, DON’T come here.

My family took pictures on May 12 2018. I did not pick them up until July 5 2018. Every time I called I was told they weren't in or they were busy and could I call back. No one ever called to say that the pictures were in. When I called on July 5 prior to picking them up, the associated was rude. The only thing she could say after I explained was, "o well they're here. " when I got there she handed them to me and that's was that.

Tina was our photographer and she didn't seem to want to be there, she took one shot per pose while we were being ready for the pose so most of the pictures we didn't like. She kept answering the phone during our session.at least half a dozen times. She missed some great shots of our son because she was on the phone. Then we waited 20 minutes to view the images while she didn't say anything to us, just went on ahead and took the next group and then finally someone who just clocked in showed us the pictures and he kept showing me all these enhancements which I clearly told him I was not interested in. But he kept on wasting our time, with birthday wording, tinting, etc. Will not return to this location, and I suggest you go to another one
