JC's Burger Bar, Coppell TX

We went for lunch and I got the Oreo shake and the Juarez burger. My husband got the killer burger. My Oreo shake was sour and my husband noticed the shake machine blinking. My burger was disgusting, it tasted really weird. My husband’s burger was too dry and there was a lot of cheese, so much to a point where that’s all he could taste. It was 45$ for 2 burgers, 1 side of fries, the shake and a drink! Save your money and go someplace else.

Called in a order today got the works and pickle chips. Burger was ehhh okay. Burger meat was dry but had good flavor when the veggies and cheese added. Pickles tasted awful. Just sour. The guy that was at the counter was nice and professional, Received food on time.

Was pretty disappointed. Ordered for takeout, asked for ranch, was not given ranch. Always a bummer.

What's even more of a bummer, is taking the food home and it's pretty much all below average. Even if I had it fresh in the restaurant, I just can't see how the prices are worth it. $5 for a slider that's smaller than a McDonalds burger is steep, but hey, you're paying for the quality, right?

For the price, there are better options. You can get a better burger at most fast food places.

Great food and service. Relaxed ambience. Even then, it is expensive for what you are getting. They have free soft-serve ice cream here, but Andy's is also just across the parking lot ()

Great experience at JC's Burger Bar! We got the nooner burger, spicy curly fries and sweet potato fries and they were all amazing and served with great service at good prices! We sat outside and it was beautiful. The curly fries weren't very spicy so don't expect heat but as far curly fries go they were crispy and well seasoned.

Great experience, I will be back!

Burger was meh. By the cost of their drinks, I was expecting a twisted root style selection, but it's just the regular junk you can get at McDonald's for half the cost.

I love supporting local, but you've gotta put the effort in.

Inflation is just killing businesses. $11.75 (tax not included) for a smallish plain bacon cheeseburger.what? That's just about how much it'll cost you in NYC, was there last week. Plus, for $8.50, you'll get two tiny anemic sliders served on Hawaiian bread rolls, really?

This is one of the best burger restaurants in DFW. I've been here twice and both times were great. The owner/manager introduced the menu very patiently, there are a lot of options on the menu including veggie options. The burger tasted really good and was very juicy, the fries were very crispy. Highly recommended

Went on a Wednesday night. Inside the music was too loud, and the bingo was going on. It was impossible to have a conversation amd a peaceful meal.

08/30/23: Thank you to JC's Burger bar and staff are allowing us to have another good Growth Group for the Coppell Chamber of Commerce. They got all the Japanese my burger was excellent and festival everybody had a great time at the event.

072023: We always love coming here. Everyone is so friendly. The food is awesome. My wife had the Shrimp tacos and I had the killer Burger. The food was served fast and the food was delicious. We even had the Coppell Chamber of Commerce with lots of people here. Smiling and having a great time. You want to have good food with the beverage of your choice you need to come here

O60423: On a nice lazy Sunday, we decided want some really good burgers. So my wife and I came to our favorite local burger place. We were greeted with smiles and hugs from some good fun friends. My wife enjoyed a Patty Melt and I had a Nooner. Always fast service with a smile surrounded by friends.

Very nice service and fun atmosphere but I found the food mediocre. Burger was dry and needs seasoning.

Family friendly but still a great place to meet your friends for a drink. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you had a fantastic time when you're there. Would recommend to anyone looking for good food and a fun time.

Reserved the entire place for bingo, and didn’t leave a single table for regular customers, and with how hot it is outside we had to eat out there. I ordered my hamburger with avocado and it didn’t have it, the quality of the burger for how much it costs it wasn’t what I expected.

Very nice small burger joint. Burgers were good as were the fries. Onion Rings weren't bad, but not the best, left some un-eaten. Very nice employees and relaxed atmosphere.

Ordered a JC's Killer Burger. What I received was a burger with a slice of not melted american cheese (not sure if it was american, I didn't actually taste it) and sauce. The burger was cooked rare with a cold red center (I like medium rare burgers, but this was ridiculous), it was missing pepper jack and bacon and the bottom bun was a soggy red mess from the undercooked burger. The only saving grace was the large curly fries that were crispy, but can be found better at Jack n the Box or even Arby's. Burger tossed in trash, fries were OK. My co-workers burger was OK according to her, but not nearly worth what it cost.

I don't give out bad reviews, in fact I believe this is only my second bad review on Google ever, but this was a major disappointment. So bad in fact that I wouldn't even call and give them a chance to make it right. I definitely will not be ordering anything from this place ever again.

Decent burgers but their shake machines are less reliable than the ones at McDonald's.

The last time I ordered, they didn't tell me until I got to the store that their shake machine was down and they couldn't even refund me for the shake I didn't receive. I definitely won't be back.
