Jeffrey S. Zapalac reviews
6Dr. Zapalac is extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions for patients. Our 5 year old had her tonsils and adenoids removed and it was a smooth, manageable process! Dr. Zapalac provided us with appropriate information about the procedure and more importantly the recovery.
I came to Dr. Zapalac for a second opinion and he was great! I will be switching to him as my provider! He was caring and made sure to give me great information! I will be seeing him as my ENT now!
Dr Zapalac was fantastic for our son's tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. He gave us personal attention with a great bedside manner. Highly recommend!
Wow. I've been seeing Dr. Zapalac for over 15 years. He did nasal polyp removal surgery after I had the same procedure by a butcher that I had a horrible experience with. He doesn't make much money off of me but aggressively treats me so that the polyps don't regrow. I used to work for a primary care provider group and we sent hundreds of patients to Dr. Z. He's a very compassionate physician and I would recommend him to anyone.
Not impressed with Dr Zapalac; once I told him my symptoms, etc, he response was like 'never heard that before' and it was the way he spoke to me. No empathy, noncaring, not personable like my other doctors (if he worked in a hospital, I'd say he has 'no bedside manners'. Checked my ears, throat, sprayed down my throat, waited 5 mins came back, 'saw nothing wrong with me'. Overall, felt like he rushed thru my visit.
Wish there was a way I could give this clown zero stars. Been seeing him more than 13 months. Has not accomplished a thing. His only advice has been stating things anyone can find with a basic internet search and then charging up the wazoo. First he told me to not use Afrin (which I did). No change. Then, I go back to him, he does a cursory examination and tells me I may have a deviated septum (Wow! Really! You went to medical school and residency to tell me something I didn't already know!). Then he insists on an unnecessary X-ray that reveals nothing and simply says "I should consider surgery. " Complete joke. Meanwhile, outside of paying, he has accomplished absolutely nothing in terms of my nasal blockage and issues. On the lookout for a better ENT.
