I am so glad I called Jeremiah Heating and Air. I called around 4: 30 because my heater was not working on the coldest night. The service men called and were at my house by 6: 00. They diagnosed the problem and set my heater to work temporarily. They will be back tomorrow with the new part. Personable and professional service!

Would not recommend. Our old HVAC system had a leak that they said could only be fixed by a total system replacement. The old system was old, and we knew it'd need replacing someday soon and so we went forward with the new one. They installed it in a day but it wouldn't hold the temperature we had it set to - a balmy 76 degrees, much higher than our other fellow TX residents usually do. It wouldn't go lower than 79 degrees. They came out multiple times to try to fix the issue and blamed it on the intake vent cover nor being cleaned (it's spotless except for hardened dirt on there from the previous owners' 20 years of usage), were quick to accuse that we didn't change the furnace filters (we change them every 3 months due to allergies and had literally changed them the day our old system went out), said the insulation on the house was fine and would be able to handle the temperature degree difference without an issue, and then admitted they didnt know how to charge the freon in the new unit and didnt do it right when they installed it. They would not listen to anything we said when we told them we experimented with the thermostat (smart thermostat, Ecobee brand) and when put to a lower temperature, it would go to a lower temperature but hold the same degree difference. For example, setting the cool to 76 made the unit hold at 79, and then setting the copl to 74 made the unit hold to 76. After 3 trips in total over a week because we kept having the same problem, they claimed it's because the unit they installed can't handle the temperature difference between the outside and inside, and blamed it also on the previous owners' add-on unit that doesn't have a direct vent in it (there's one 3 ft from the entrance though), and even though our old unit could do it just fine. They basically told us we'd have to just live with it. They offered no solution. Furthermore, one of them, named Carl, spanked our 3 year old son "in play". Totally unprofessional and unacceptable on all levels. I will be calling their HQ to make a formal complaint. Do not hire these people.

A very positive experience with Jeremiah Heating and Cooling company. They performed a thorough job, and were honest and knowledgeable. I recommend them to anyone wanting to have their air conditioning system or heating system repaired or replaced. In addition, they are on the “Good Contractor’s List”.

IF YOUR AC GOES OUT, GO TO SOMEONE ELSE! Recommendation at the end. I apologize in advance of this rant

Adding to Courtney Brown's rating. If there was a way to rate 0 stars, I would.

Compressor was working before Carl (owner) showed up. He said he needed to replace the capacitor. After replaced the compressor shorted. He then replaced the compressor and capacitor.

When work was completed, I asked for an itemized receipt for what was used to complete work. Ex. 5 gallons of refrigerant - $600,3 hrs of labor @ $200/ hr, etc. He said "We do not need to justify our prices or work". We were left unable to see what the pricing was of any of the supplies used or the hourly rate. Just a bill. We were promised a detailed receipt that was itemized and that was not delivered.

After he completed the work, the house did begin cooling slightly. It was 87 degrees when he finished, and dropped to 80 in a couple hours. During this time, I called Jeremiah to get a better receipt that showed the prices of materials and labor. I was told a service manager would call me back. When the call was returned, it was Carl. Needless to say, I did not get my itemized receipt. Turns out Carl is the tech, the owner, and customer service.

After about 3 hours, the unit was no longer functioning. Not only was it not cooling, the fan also was now not functioning.

Today, we brought out a different AC company due to the poor quality of work, poor ability to document prices with integrity, and the overall lack of class that Jeremiah AC had shown. The tech for the new AC company said that the contactor and the wires to power the unit were fried. There was a burning smell around the unit. He found that the wires were installed incorrectly (not secured) and was amazed that any part of the unit was still functional even after replacing contactor and wiring. You can see the damage in the attached photo. Jeremiah effectively cost us more money cleaning up after them

Best part. Today as the new company was correcting the destruction caused by Jeremiah AC, Carl shows up, goes to my neighbors front door and calls me. As I am on the phone with him, I go outside and I see Carl and his apprentice appearing to start working/disassembling my neighbors unit. Fortunately, I said I did not want them back and they left before any damage could occur on my neighbors unit.

I am convinced that when replacing the capacitor, Jeremiah AC shorted the compressor. Their electrical work is awful. This caused a high bill that they would not explain.

I have seen children's lemonade stands that were run more professionally than this company. Their pamphlet says "We uphold a standard of integrity bound by fairness, honesty and personal responsibility. Our distinction is the quality we bring to our customers. " Nothing about their work was quality and the lack of documentation and quality receipts shows a lack of fairness and honesty. Not providing a detailed receipt is a lack of personal responsibility.

AVOID COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

If you are reading this, Top Gun AC was high quality. Photos of what they found, photos of what they did, and who would think, AN ITEMIZED receipt explaining costs.

This guy totally ripped us off! Said we needed a new compressor that would be covered by our warranty and proceeded to charge us $1900 for “labor. ” Ridiculous! When we asked for him to explain the bill and justify the charges he refused. The worst part is the AC unit is not even fixed!

As is always the case, great communication, on time, super pleasant, and their prices are simply unbeatable. Highly recommended from someone recommends almost no one. These folks are TERRIFIC!

Carl and his son are always amazing in the professionalism and promptness we had are capacitor go out they came with in the hour and replaced it AC back up and running in less than an hour. I will call these guys again and recommend them to everyone who wants intelligent and accurate service on a system that requires as such thanks JEREMIAH!

This has been the most tremendous experience working with this company. Carl was a pleasure and Brandon that came out was honest, straight forward and let us know issues and fixed what we had needed done in the future. In today's world where know one feels that service companies can be trusted or even on the up and up. This company proves that good honest business is still alive and there handshake and their word is what they mean. We will be recommending them to all our friends and family whenever asked. Once again fantastic people and excellent service.

For a small airduct reconnect, cost ticket came back $194. I paid. That's 4 times more than what I was expecting. I thought these guys were very trustworthy when Carl said we will tell you prices upfront. Tech Brandon said it will cost just little bit before he started. But he never said the amount. Please be careful. I feel cheated. I could have done it myself if I had known it would cost this much.very deceitful in my opinion.
