Jessica Hollis Park reviews
16Lived near the park for 50 years when they did so called improvements it’s now overcrowded, crime and not good for kids
Nice park for an outing but not good for swimming to much current. Have to take lots of percussion.
Great park with easy access for Stand-up paddle boards and kayaks.they also have grills and picnic tables
Beautiful park to take family for an outing and swimming. Looking for a fishing spot, there was no place to fish from shore and there were many people in the river. Great place to visit for the day.
Very nice place.but no fish is there for fishing.clear cristal water and very nice and clean area.perfect for relaxing and kayaking
I love it but it’s so cold so only go when it’s hot because you will die from the coldness, you can’t stay in it for more than 5 minutes because of the coldness but it’s so fun
If you go at the right time, you can enjoy of a quiet shaded picnic, or a nice fishing spot. It's a small area and sometimes gets crowded. There is a $1.00 parking fee for the hour.
Very cute for a picnic or to chill with a cup of coffee by the water. No walking or hiking trails beyond bridge, only downside!
This is a hidden gem of a park. It's only been open a few years and they're always adding more to it. Parking is only $1/hour. You can kayak, paddle board and swim. Mansfield Dam is right there and overlooks the park. Beautiful little spot.
Really nice area, just be careful when leaving and don't go straight down the bridge (dead end)
Why this place stands out: it's the only section of Lake Austin that is shielded from the scourge of motor boats and jet skis.
Significant improvements to parking and access. I have visited this area for many many years to kayak. Recent improvements to parking area also means that now they charge for parking, albeit $1 per hour is very reasonable.
Clean area, not very crowded, pet friendly, great place to go fishing, very cold water, free parking
Kinda of a funky little spot under the dam. People fishing and picnicking. I can see not having a ton of infrastructure as water probably gets high. Also keeps it free! Bathrooms available and not crowded at all on this pretty Sunday.
A spectacular spot. Lake Austin's upper public water access, make sense to kayak down the stream from here. It's not a place for little kids or sports. Still under construction.
Not sure the purpose of this area. Mansfield Dam park is around the corner and is a much better area.
