Jet Jet Internet reviews
7 Heard from the office mgr in Sealy today and have a course set to correct our problems. I would give her 5 stars because she’s awesome and takes care of customers and business. I understand they are busy, and people are sick because of what’s going on today, but knowing someone cares and is actually working to fix this goes a long way towards my patience as we wait for them to do those repairs.
She also let me know they are upgrading their towers and I am hoping things will get much better after that. I know there are a lot of rural customers and not a lot of options for service providers, so the few companies are being inundated. That taxes their towers.
I will update this review after things are all fixed and we’re running where we should. Hopefully to a five star for the entire company. -1/14/21 sw
When this was actually JetJet, the service was great, but now that Zochnet has taken over it’s nothing but slow service or no service. And now that you can’t connect to the Sealy location at all when you call, the tech customer service is terrible too.
We’ve had problems for over a year, and never offered a refund partial or otherwise. And I mean sometimes calling in daily. The office mgr is Sealy is super nice and always tried to help us by getting someone out immediately or ASAP, and/or getting them to work on it from there right away. We finally had a technician “fix” the problem around November/December ‘21 and had decent service for almost two months. Now last week the same problems are starting up again.
And now when you call, you get Zochnet’s tech offices which do NOTHING. Tell me to power cycle for the umpteenth time then magically it’s fixed? But you can’t tell me what was wrong or why we went down at 8 o’clock the night before only to be down all night? No, I don’t think so.
Or when it stays down after a power cycle, tell me that a scheduling person will be with me within 24 hours and we’ll have a service tech out within a few days? NO, I don’t think so.
I’m shopping for new internet service today. I don’t have many options where we’re located but I’ll find something. I’m sick and tired of paying $92 per month for top tier service and getting squat!
They use to be great until it changed to Zoch Net now, the internet is really unreliable and inconsistent. We have called them and they have one decent tech that comes out and helps. Meanwhile customer service said if we call them again they will have to start charging us to come out!
Really slow internet. Would change company, but not too many options out here in the country.
I had high hopes for Jet Jet. The customer service is very friendly and the installation was very professional (hence the 3 stars). However, the service isn’t what I expected or as advertised (25mbps up and down - not even close). For the general Internet user I’d say this would probably work, but don’t recommend for power or business users at all. You won’t be able to get your critical work done. After multiple phone calls and being apologetically explained to that the only person in the company who could diagnose and possibly fix my post-install issues was out of the country sippin’ pina coladas, and a no-show tech visit this afternoon, I’ve decided I’m going to have to cancel. This is the 2nd company I’ve tried out here in 3 weeks and folks out here just can’t seem to get it done. Nice try Jet Jet but a major setback for me. I hope I can get a refund. Thanks.
11/18 update - Jet Jet retrieved equipment after being unable to resolve very, very slow upload speeds (sub-1mbps) which is entirely unusable if you have to do a lot of videoconferencing. Very friendly people, but not in a hurry, or understaffed. Still waiting on refund outcome.
11/21 update - After a couple of phone calls, an unanswered email, and an unanswered vm regarding a refund, I had to change my 3-star rating to 2-stars. Now Jet Jet isn't responding to me at all. I was hoping that they would at least refund me for the equipment (which they got back) and the 1st month of service (since it never worked right). I'm taking the lack of response from their end that the answer to my refund question is "no" and that I will have to escalate with my bank.
Slow and overpriced. $70 for 4mbps which you'll be lucky to ever hit.
I have had Jet Jet since moving to Bellville yrs ago. I am sorry the new owner of Caushotta is not working with them. They are a fabulous company.
