Jiffy Lube reviews
18Great techs. Very friendly and professional. They move fast and don't waste your time. I have 4 vehicles and take them all there.
I've used Jiffy Lube dozens of times over the years, but this time I experienced something new. On a hot day when I showed up with kids in the car for an oil change, they had me roll my windows down just a bit and put in air conditioner tubes to keep the car cool while the engine was turned off it was. Thanks for a nice touch of customer service.
Tried to charge me twice as much as the dealership. When I inquired on why the tech looked me right in the face and told me because told me because that it was a lexus and it took more than 5 quarts. Didnt even know the year or model nor what motor was under the hood. For the record my car takes 4.9 quarts.
Horrible customer service, I went to get a state inspection and the guy told me had nobody available all week so he asked that I return the following week. I did not get a chance to do so but yesterday I called to make sure they would have somebody available today. Person on the phone said yes, available from 10-5. I got off work early to make sure I arrived on time, I showed up and a guy comes out and said I am cutting them off right now. Take mind only 1 car been inspected. I told him my past experience and my call from yesterday, he actually took out his phone to see the time not even 3: 30. I told him somebody said until 5. He said, well I would actually say come back tomorrow but I am not even sure, I said so I will get off early and you might say the same thing? And he laughed in my faced and walked away.
Julian and the guys were awesome! Fast and knowledgeable too! Julian did more then an oil change for me and fixed a tire sensor too which I had been so worried about! Y'all are great!

About 3 times I toke my cars to replaced the oil always the oil light gave me alert they don't know about there job not professional at all they make damage to engine
Not the most professional staff. I was seen pulling up in the parking lot but no attended to me for like 5 minutes. When I finally spoke to a worker, he seemed agitated, from what I'm guessing is from being understaffed.
Also, the website said they repaired leaking tires but worker told me this was not the case. Went to McFaddens and they were prompt and courteous, repairing my tire.
Awful! Do not take your car here. Failed my inspection for no reason and on a new car! Went to another place and passed with no problem. Even the man at the other place I took it said, never go to jiffy lube. Save yourself fustration, money, and time.
Went here to get my state inspection last Tuesday at 6pm and told me that they don’t do inspections after 5: 30 even though they close until 7pm, ok I guess the guys that does the inspections leaves early.
The next day I started reading reviews of this place and how they always try to sell you things you don’t need or making dumb excuses and failing your inspection.
I am glad I didn’t come back here to get my state inspection. Thanks to all the people who posted honest reviews.
Their state inspection system is always down even if you call ahead you get there and it is broke
I came here on a Sunday morning to get a state vehicle inspection. There was nobody waiting at the time, so my inspection was completed within 15 minutes. Great service!
Absolute worst place to get an inspection. Either their inspector is not there or expect to wait at least 2 hours if they do have one.
I drove from san antonio and soon as i got to pflugerville my radiator cap blew my coolant all over the engine. I bought a new cap and the two guys where extremely nice and helped me out by filling my reservoir back up. Now i can get to work tomorrow and start my new chapter here in austin. Ill definatly be coming back to keep my van maintenanced.
Came in for oil change was told 2 cars were ahead. Waited over 1.5 hours and it appeared other cars were going around nine. Very frustrating. This Jiffy not so jiffy.
These guys were great they told me the wait was 45 min for my car and these guys nailed it in 3mim
Sign reads “We serve faster and friendly, ” however, I came in for a vehicle inspection which takes 15 minutes and waited for over TWO and a half hours. The owner of one of the vehicles ahead of mine did not have his insurance ready so Cottle, the technician, decided to wait while the guy received it on his phone and stood inside watching TV instead of pulling the next vehicle in. I came to Jiffy Lube because I was in the area, but will NEVER come back.
Went there for an inspection and he failed me over my tint. Truck had no problem passing with that tint last year and has never failed inspection before. Said it was 15% (had no idea really since the truck came that way when i bought it) when the legal limit is 26%. The inspectors name was Daniel Jimenez so avoid taking your vehicle there unless you like waiting over an hour to get failed over tint. I plan to just take it somewhere else and deter anybody I know from taking their business there.
As with any place, ask questions before you have them do anything to your vehicle. I ended up spending a lot of money here and didn't need to. I feel they took advantage of the situation. All I needed was a flush of the radiator and the engine. I specifically said water to be flushed through. They ended up doing something that was completely different and it cost close to $300.
