Jimmy's Egg - Amarillo, Soncy Rd. reviews
14Breakfast was excellet, The waitress was very attentive even though the place was very busy.
Delicious and very good portions. It's about time there was another option other than Ihop. Congratulations keep up the good work.
Ridiculous.this was unexpectedly delicious. Not so much into chain restaurants, but this was worth the visit. You should go. New twists and combos of omelets. Picture this, a ham and cheese omelette wrapped around biscuits, with gravy on top. Voila the biscuit and gravy omelette. Eat it, go ahead I dare ya.
A friend took me here for breakfast bc I had never been here. The place was clean, busy and our server was the best! I got the Country skillet with scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, cheese and a side of biscuits and gravy! The biscuits are HUGE and so incredibly plump and tender! The gravy was so good! My country skillet was so delicious and more than enough! My friend got the Traditional Breakfast with bacon, fried eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes! He eats there quite often, but he couldn’t finish his breakfast either! I got a box to go and I took it home and had a great second meal! I highly recommend this place for their food quality, enormous servings, great service and a very clean store! I will be going back as I was pleasantly surprised!
Gave them another try today. Coffee is weak, fries so hard you can’t eat them, and something on patty melts smelt tainted.
Ugh
Not only is their coffee almost $2, they also make it weaker to make more money. It's like colored, hot water. And breakfast has never been so expensive. Tastes good at least.
Great service from staff that is happy to be there. Food is fantastic. A must try for breakfast or lunch.
Smaller and slower than the Georgia location, also menu is missing items the Georgia location lhas listed.
Great food! Friendly faces! Wife loved the eggs Benedict. I had the omellete with spinach. Plenty of nice crispy bacon. You may chuckle at 5 star rating for atmosphere, but Jimmy's Egg does a really nice job with their breakfast menu. We had a nice clean booth and a nice view out the window. So, Jimmy Egg gets 5 stars for atmosphere too. Our waitress never let our coffee run dry. I would buck the service up to 6 stars, if I could.
I've been here twice now. It's definitely more expensive than most of the breakfast places around here but the food is excellent and the service is very good also. I'm just not used to paying so much for a basic bacon and eggs breakfast. I ate it a different place the next day and it was just as good and half as much.
Awesome place to eat, the food is great, the lady that seats everyone is a hustler, she's all over the place cleaning, seating, hustling
Food was OK. Biscuits & Gravy pretty good. Weak coffee. Tap water.not filtered.
Our server was great and on top of things.
Ho hum food for me
Food came out hot and fresh. Blake and his team are top-notch, second to none. Bring all the family cause the menu suits everyone.
One of our favorite places to eat breakfast as a family. My husband loved the eggs Benedict.
