Jim's Restaurant reviews
36My Husband and I visited Jims with some church friends and had a variety to different plates! They were all delicious as usual! The hamburgers are always great and the club salads were awesome. Its such a family friendly place to have lunch and spend time with friends! And their home made pies great always so fresh! Good job Jims.
This Jim’s is filthy. Went about a month ago and thought it was a one off but upon returning yesterday it is in worse shape. Left for a cleaner restaurant.
We love Jim’s so this review is only about the cleanliness of this location.
Amazing food! The customer service is amazing! Very well ran! The employees are super friendly and you can get breakfast all day! Here's a tip, you want a great waitress, ask for Brenda! She was super friendly, and made the experience 2x better! Overall, a really great establishment, I will definitely come here again when I visit San Antonio again!
We love the Huebner location! Management and staff treat us like "favorite" family members! Great food, nice portions, awesome waitstaff and cooks. Love the annual holiday special "bonus" card, too!
Our family in Denver Colorado purchased us a gift card for Christmas.they knew it was the perfect gift!
Always good! My family goes at all times of the day, and if there's a wait, it's not too long. Good coffee, nice waitresses.
The brkfst was off the chain, way better then Denny's and IHOP, the cook Daniel is amazing and knows how to cook a mean brkfst!
Great daily specials, good burgers, pies, and pies. Monday's meatloaf can be served with either Creole Sauce/tomato gravy or brown gravy. Thursday is the best baked chicken ever. Saturday is Navy Bean soup that is almost as fantastic as their Cheese and tortilla soups. And their onion rings are to die for. Great pairing with the order of 3 sliders that although no longer on the menu, are available upon request.
Great home cooking with the best sweet tea.
Food is nice. Prices are fine. It's a traditional restaurant with big portions dishes. Staff mood changes frequently but they're mostly friendly.
Service was good. Food goes along with the rating. Ordered prime rib, club sandwich, steak and shrimp, mozzarella sticks and kids pizza. Ordered prime rib medium, it was rare, pizza was over cooked with little cheese, shrimp was over cooked as well.
Best breakfast ever! Good attentive staff and food is incredible! Went twice in 3 days! Eating here is a must!
Vincent working overnight was an amazing server! He was funny and knew everything about the menu items and described them in great detail that made it all sound too delicious.the food came pretty quickly and tastey. I would highly recommend this place for an overnight meal with him around.
The establishment is definitely a favorite of locals. Everyone seemed to know everyone. But as far as our experience as just someone passing through, we really didn't get very good service. Food tasted good though.
The was service was terrible. We waited 40 minutes to get our meals. The salad was late. Then the waitress was arguing with the other waitress about the table being assigned to her. Our grandkids took my wife and there for grandparents day bad choice.
One of my favorite places to go when Im in San Antonio. Great menu options, kind service, & very good prices for the amount of food. Omelettes are delicious and you MUST try their classic, thin & crispy, onion rings!
Always have eggs Benedict. Everything was good but the english muffins were a little tough and did not taste quite right.
I love their senior menu, especially their chicken (and fruit) salad plate. And their spaghetti sauce is the best!
Can't beat the chopped steak at Jim's. Always cooked just right and the salad is crisp with the best "lumpy" Bleu Cheese dressing around. Tea is always good and fresh.
It's Jim's so the food is good, we also had a great waitress, but this location was just dirty. It didn't smell good and it just seemed dirty.
Food was so gross all you could taste was the old oil they were using (I'm getting nauseated just thinking about it ugh!)
Staff was a joke its like the restaurant was being run by people they just hired that day without any supervision.
It seriously felt like we were on an episode of punked. Just a Horrible Experience
Front greeter provided awful service! Never acknowledged us verbally, yet rather without any words and chin thrust. When it came time to be seated, completed disregarded the fact that we requested booth seating in our area of choice. Walked out.
