Jim's Restaurants reviews
19Ordered online thru door dash at 6pm they said it would take till 655pm for 2 orders of spaghetti and mini kids burgers then they switched it to 735 pm what the hell is going on
The lady named Lynn that works at the front is rude and yells at customers if you simply ask a question. The store was busy but she was on edge the whole time. No way to treat customers. But when it came to the elderly customers she changed completely and was sweet. Makes no sense to treat me rudely because I’m younger for simply asking if my TOGO order was ready.
Service can be much better and the management doesn't seem to care about its customers.
Waited a while to be attended then the burgers we ordered were burned on the outside and under cooked on the inside. After on of my family members picked up our check along with their check they had the nerve to tell us we need to leave a tip on the table even though my aunt had already paid for our check and left a tip. The lady who asked to leave a tip was rude and demanded the tip even though the tip was left at the time of the check being paid.
Service was good. Food was good, but the portions for the senior menu was poor, especially for the price. I left still hungry and paid what I think was high for what I got compared to like restaurants. I know Denny's is better priced and the portions fill me up. So I won't be going back to Jim's. It was disappointing too. I hadn't been there in years.
We just ate at Jims on Blanco Rd and the place was so hot we couldnt eat our food. This is the secong tome it has been so hot. My cheese was melted on my Chef Salad and the lettuce was wilted and warm.
The restaurant is completely under staffed. The wait time was offered as 20 mins and the servers didn’t come back to check on the customers waiting while tables were empty. The sense of urgency of the staff was minimal. No apology was given for long wait times. I prefer giving positive reviews. I’m very sad.
We waited a very long time to be seated, 30+ minutes. I believe they may have been short staffed. Aside from that the staff was very nice. The food was good but not enough seasoning.
The chicken fried steak dinner was good as was the service. This is a nice clean quiet restaurant with very easy access from 1604 for those who are traveling.
Jim's (Frontier Enterprise) has been a household name in our family. My mom was a car hop back in the 60's. Food always good, great prices, and hardworking staff. You can asked to grill your biscuits, waffle with the Jim's logo is a treat, all food is good, they also have shakes. My favorite is hot apple pie with a scoop of cinnamon ice cream. Yummy! ️
I was on vacation and a friend took me to Jim's. I loved it! They made my my favorite omlette! Thank you very much y'all!
Just visited during lunch hour. First time in over a year. Started off with a 15 min wait which was longer. Once we sat down drinks came out quickly. Ordered tortilla soup and salad, friend ordered chicken salad and a side of tortilla soup. Soups came out 20 min after waiting. Salads never made it to table. Friend left back to work on a side cup of soup. Very disappointed with the lack of communication with the staff. Aware of initial wait for table but that was due to half the restaurant being closed. Would not recommend during lunch time if you don’t have the time to wait.
If you've ever been to a Jims you know, 3 stars is as good as it gets. So in essence 3 stars = 5 stars, and the tortilla soup really is 5 star!
I loved it here, friendly staff, food came out quick and everything was just right, and delicious! Thanks for the awesome service
I have had 20 years of consistently good food at very fair pricing. Always great staff. It's my favorite place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in San Antonio.
The price is right for what you get. Everything is cooked fresh. But it has no flavor to anything. I never had gravy taste like water. To be honest it isn't enough for me to come back to.
This is a sweet, quiet place to meet with my son and it's a favorite with him. His little daughter loves the pancakes and sausages! The staff are very nice.
Our waitress was nice but the food and the service upfront wasn’t great. Our eggs and hash browns were undercooked. The front service just wasn’t moving efficiently and the pie case was all foggy and wet.
The restaurant at 18155 blanco.very slow service! Food came out cold, hash browns cold and stale, plate presentation was poor, nothing appetizing!
The shift manager helped solve the issue, great service recovery
