JINYA Ramen Bar - Sugar Land reviews
14The food is soooo good and the service was very nice and attentive but the place is small and so it feels very crowded and I’m a bit claustrophobic so that part was not a comfortable experience for me.
Thankfully got to go here before they jacked their prices up in 2023. They are too expensive to go there anymore. So sad cause they used to be good.
A bad experience last thursday night, January 4,2024 around 7pm, one of the servers, girl, white, wearing shorts is rude at me in front of my family, pointing her finger on my face just by telling me I dont have reservation, she is unprofessional and disrespectful, I was trying to her in a very calm manner that I was there 1 hour earlier, talking to the receptionist or host (she is polite), that we would like to eat by 7pm with my other kids. When I came back this rude server who doesnt have any single manner started to pointing her finger at me abour my reservation.
The food is good, the asian guy server was very nice to us, the host is very nice to us too except this white girl
This whole place is sooo good, the food, the service, everything is neat and clean and delicious. I highly recommend it
Really good ramen with great add-ons! I love the Tonkotsu Black ramen and added additional spice. The dumplings are delicious. They have a full bar with delicious drinks and hot and cold sake. As with a lot of ramen places there is a large community table but there are additional tables there as well if you prefer to sit alone with your party. Either way if you want some tasty ramen this is a great spot.
Excellent ramen. Having been a gym rat in a previous life, before my beloved wife and child, I'm not fond of having some lady stare at my gut on the way out. Sorry, I had to drop a star in spite the of the A+ service and food, especially the fried veggies. Kinda ruined experience. I'm not obesse either.
Small restaurant with a modern setting. You might be forced to sit with others on a "community table" if you come during peak hours.
The tonkatsu black ramen is delicious here and consistent from the three times I've had it. The service is also really good! Very friendly and helpful staff.
It's also conveniently next door to a bakery and Boba shop for dessert, but they do close earlier.
This was the first time we tried this ramen restaurant. The food was excellent. The soup was deliciously rich and flavorful. The ramen was cooked properly, soft but yet crunchy. You got the whole seasoning egg, not half! The chasiu was soft and a little fatty. Overall, It is 10/10 ramen!
I really like this place. There is a chain of this place closer to my house my wife and I go to often. The jinya buns arent bif but they are really good. The biggest disappointment was the seasoned eggs. I am not sure what happened but they were over-cooked and didn't have that gooey yolk. That egg is literally my favorite reason for going here. The music always seems like it's a few levels above where it should be making it hard to have a conversation without raising your voice, but that we are accustomed to.
Jonathan, our server, was fantastic! We were served with respect and dignity. Both him, the manager, and the rest of the staff were very professional, friendly and kind toward my children. The spicy tonkotsu and miso ramen were awesomely delicious. Highly recommend coming here with your family or friends!
I recently visited this restaurant —and had a delightful experience. The ramen was exceptionally tasty, showcasing a perfect blend of flavors. The swift service added to the overall satisfaction, ensuring a prompt and enjoyable meal. I appreciate the restaurant's commitment to delivering both delicious food and efficient service. It's definitely a place I'd recommend for a satisfying dining experience.
Loving this place! Its our second time here and so satisfying every time.
The fact that they have a Vegan/Vegetarian menu is great already. BUT THE RAMEN! So delicious I order with extra broth the second time cause it was so good. And let's not forget the impossible bun. Also had mini tacos the second time as part of ordering the ramen for Vegan day I believe. They where small and cute but satisfying.
Can't wait to comeback and try more of the menu.
The only issue was the Asian waitress stared at me as of she had seen a ghost when I walked in, besides the Asian waitress. The Asian waiter, a guy, was pretty cool. The Asian girl upfront was pretty rude. I said nothing to her, she was just making faces at me, and rolling her eyes while the manager helped me to a table.
