Friday 8/26/23 — the guy hates his job. You’d think he’d be more friendly when the place is completely empty. Felt like an inconvenience.
The best thing about this place is the bartender Johnson. I’ve always been treated with respect, and never had a bad drink or shot. This place could use some drink specials or something like a trivia night. But other than that keep this man behind the bar!
The amber beer is crisp! Not very flavorful, but I'm impressed with the texture and fizz. The bartender isn't winning any congeniality awards, but he was nice enough I guess. As an out of towner, I love chatting with locals to learn more about the city and culture. But he's not a native Texan, so I get his lack of interest in talking about the town. But beyond good drinks, I like a bartender who can chat when the bar is empty.especially when the bar is empty.
