Joe Lee's Seafood Kitchen reviews
18We were in town for a convention and went out to what seemed like a good restaurant after trying Opus Ocean Grille (where we received a warm reception but the the wait was too long) …Upon walking in the door with our Service Dogs and were greeted with…”you got papers on them dogs! ” No “hi” or anything just a very rude reception! Not such a good place in my book!
The catfish with etoufee on it was really good the time before last.so I thought a fish sandwich would be good.but it had some kind of batter and was beyond done.didn't like it.won't get the fish sandwich again
Delicious food, wonderful customer service, on the phone and in person. Nice people gave good advice to order, quick service, great for families, I would go again next time I am in the area
We have been coming here for years. Best seafood ever. The prices are great and the waiters are great. The only things is wish they had more locations. But we will be back every time
Very rude customer service when trying to order over the phone! Why would you wanna take over the phone orders if you dont have good customer service skills! This is the second time dealing with a rude individual while trying to order my food! I will not be ordering from here EVER again
Had oysters for lunch yesterday. I was very disappointed. The oysters were about the size of a dime and over cooked. The lady at the register was rude.
This place used to be one of our favorites. The food is great, so is the service but the dining room is so hot you don’t want to be in there. It’s beyond being just a little warm, its HOT. They have no ceiling fans and two portable fans in dining room that does nothing. A/C unit is way too small for restraunt and obviously cant cool the place. I hope they will do the proper maintenance or investment into the ac or i think everyone will just stop going. I feel sorry for the waitresses and cooks.
The food was very good the portions were plentiful and the prices weren't bad I would definitely go back but it was a little loud inside
Great food. Got the flounder and catfish fillets with fries and hushpuppies. The wife got butterfly shrimp and fries. We will be back for sure, every time we visit.
Food was fresh and hot, the service was great as always! My friend was visiting from Alabama and she loved it! We had popcorn shrimp, catfish, slaw and fried okra
Yes, Yes, and Yes again. They even have the South Shore Beer Garden burgers the locals used to ride their bikes to get as kids. If you're not from Texas don't come here lol.
Ladies here are sweethearts and flounder n crawdad tails were magnifico! I'll drive all way from Pearland to come here again
Better than Kemah Boardwalk.and very relaxed atmosphere. Do yourself and your family a favor. Come to Joe Lee's and Come often.
After years of coming here, I am being forced out due to the unbelievable price increases. Well, we enjoyed it while it lasted. Bye my friends.
We live nearby so we stop in every once in awhile, my favorite is the popcorn shrimp dinner. Staff is always friendly but we usually get takeout.
I had the seafood platter oyster's, fish and stuffed crab. It wasn't what I expected.the oil needed to be changed.the stuffed crab was cold, barely any crab in it, mostly stuffing and wasn't cooked properly.came with 3 oyster's I had one big one and two small ones.my husband ordered the shrimp it was over cooked and didn't taste fresh it tasted farm raised.if you eat FRESH caught seafood you can taste the difference. I don't know what happened, years ago I remember it was really good. For the price it wasn't worth it. It was 62 dollars for 3 people with drinks.atmosphere was cozy, a bit busy and server's were great.just seemed like the cooks do not take pride in their cooking.
My hubby and I have been enjoying Joe Lee's for years, simple, delicious seafood, fresh and tasty. I especially love their fried flounder fillets. Will be going back for more with satisfaction guaranteed! Yum.
