It is under ownership. The gentleman who used to run it and do cook the food closed. The new owners are nice but the food is pricer now and not as good as the previous owner

GO HERE!
FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY. Joe and his lovely wife have turned this place around in the past few months. New menu items AND the best smoked ribs and brisket around. You can see the pit smoking as you get close! Breakfast too! "Brisket Burrito" are household words for us now. They have bait.and ice.and picnic supplies. THANKS TO JOES COUNTRY STORE FOR BRINGING "COUNYRY" BACK TO THE COUNTRY STORE

Really more of a 2.5 ish, although the other person i was with would not say that (he said 1) but I always give points for staff friendliness. And they were very nice.

So this place has new owners. I'm not sure when that happened, but the menu that is shown here as of today is still up but it is not their menu. Neither are the prices. And I'm not sure that the hours are the same either. We got there around 3. The open sign was on. However, they seemed a bit surprised that they had customers and initially weren't sure if they had food. They did but the only main course they had were pulled pork sandwiches and didn't have most of the sides. We got 2 pulled pork sandwiches and potato salad sides and two bottled coke (they were out of fountain drinks) for a little over $30.

Flavor of the meat was pretty good, no BBQ sauce, nor did I see any around anywhere but to be fair I did not ask. The potato salad wasn't terrble, it just didn't have much flavor at all.

Maybe once the new owners get situated, things will smooth out a bit more. I'd just suggest that they update the information online so that people don't go expecting one thing and getting something else entirely.
