6Updated review: not only did Dr. Penninck rush through and talk over me the entire appt, he completely missed a fracture in my pelvic x-rays. So glad I went to a different Ortho who saw the fracture and offered a proper diagnosis and course of treatment.
Dr. Penninck did my ankle replacement in 2018 and he did a wonderful job. I could barely even walk before the surgery and was in extreme pain. I am able to do all activities other than high impact and that is only to take care of my ankle long-term.
I had a horrible experience with my first surgeon. Dr Penninck has been great. Explains things clearly and his staff is professional and friendly.
Dr Penninck was very professional and thorough. Took his time and asked lots of questions. However, when a young lady came in the room carrying a tray with instruments and a brown solution, I was alarmed. She didn’t ask my name. When I asked what all that was, she said it was for my hand. Nope, wrong patient, I’m here for my ankle. Hope whatever procedure that was for, wasn’t too painful, cause just looking at it made me want to cry.
Dr. Penninc has operated on me several times. Each time I have been very pleased.
He has a lot of compassion for those he care for.
Very happy with my foot surgery. He was very professional and the wound healed well. This was the first by him and the third by another foot doctor! Trust this doctor.
