I chose Dr. Thoppil because of his credentials, but his genuine demeanor, his kindness, and his respect for me as his patient qualify him for my own list of Best Doctors in Austin. He’s wonderful.

Dr. Topil was very kind and very considerate of me, who had difficulty communicating in English.

I’ve been a patient at this practice since 2013 and everything about it is exemplary. I hope Dr. Thoppil never retires because both of my daughters (22yrs & 24yrs) are established patients now and they are happy clients too! The new mammogram machine is clutch to make a yearly well woman check-up literally one-stop. Wisely done.

Dr. Thoppil is the best OB-GYN in Austin area, hands down. He is very cool and listens patiently and answers to all of my questions. He has great bedside manners and let me tell you this - previously I have always been uncomfortable with pelvic exams and trans vaginal ultrasound until I visited Dr. Thoppil. His way of performing pelvic exam and transvaginal ultrasound never caused me any discomfort. He took care of my pregnancy appointments with utmost care. The quick ultrasounds to check on the baby were add-ons and gave us joy as first time parents to be. He is also very quick in addressing any concerns on the patient portal. My husband and I are so glad and grateful to the universe for finding Dr. Thoppil. The entire staff - from front desk to the nurses and ultrasound technicians are the best. Would recommend him 200 percent Rooting for my next pregnancy and delivery to be handled by him Cheers

I appreciate every aspect of this practice. The administration and Dr Thoppill are top notch. He is beyond knowledgeable and communicative.

Recently saw Dr. Thoppil for an IUD consult and a routine pap smear. While the portion with my doctor did feel a little rushed, I realized that I was one of their last appointments for the day. They were likely just trying to ensure clinic flow was optimal for all patients in the office. Overall, my visit was a total of 45 minutes, and I even got my flu shot! Only downside was that I didn't get it inserted same day. But the office has a super flexible schedule and it was scheduled within 2 weeks of my consult.

On time, informative, quick appointment. Very friendly, explain everything and whenever I leave, my life has been enhanced in some way.

Have been seeing Dr John Thoppil for almost thirteen years. During my pregnancy I was diagnosed with fibroid, and Dr Thoppil was very concerned. Few years later it was successfully removed by Dr Thoppil. I am very grateful for his professionalism and how he help me become pain free. This staff at River Place are Awesome too.
