Johnson Park reviews
16Well kept park. Fishing dock, beach area, playground all at the same place. Good place for Pokemon Go.
Really nice park just wish there was a place for swimming. Especially with how out of control our hot weather has been.
Today grass is so high you can't see the water use to be the perfect place to come to very dissapointed ️
I love this park. Abilene did a good job improving and adding play ground and new pavilions. I am very relaxing whenever I am at this park.
Been going here for most of my life. They have kept it personal not high end. A great lake for fishing camping! They have frisbee golf course. Play ground and the best wind off the lake.several boat ramps still accessable. Covered seating for folks who need shade. Wonderful fun with family and friends!
Overall the Park was in good shape. Camp sites were clean, grassy area clean.
The city crews are doing a great job - even working weekends.
Decent sized park. Trash is everywhere, beach is gravel and rocks covered in glass from bottles. Most water off shoreline is covered in sharp rocks. Obviously neglected, haven't been to a park so dirty.
My family and I have been coming to Johnson Park for over 20 year's. It's always a fun affordable place for family to get together and have some fun!
Great Free 48 hour campsite. Had some trash, I picked up deposited it a short distance away in trash receptacle. Flush toilet.
Pretty great lakeside park. Lots of parking, plenty of picnic tables, grills, volleyball court, fishing dock, and swimming areas. Public handicap accessible restrooms and pavilions for reservation available also. Bathrooms could use work and the handicap stall in the womens rest room had the door ripped off completely and did not have a door or privacy. Great place to watch the sunrise, picnic, bring kids, family etc. Camping up to 48 hours, no alcohol signs everywhere by city ordinance.
Little water logged after all the ️ but nice peaceful place. With actives for the outdoorsy.
Great family sopt to enjoy the fishing and outdoors. Bar bqing and swimming. Perfect to camp out in tent. Just a all around great spot for a good weekend.
Nice place for families to swim with picnic tables and playground equipment. Well patrolled also.
Pretty good honestly, raiting 3 stars because of how long the shallow is where we were (left of the doc) and because I found a piece of glass, didn't step on it tho, just found it.
It was an enjoyable afternoon when my wife and grandkids we had a good time thank you Johnson Ferry
Nice park just need to be picked up a lil bit when it comes to trash. But over all good place for the family and friends.
