I work here, and have been to performances here. LOVELY place, parking is still a NIGHTMARE!

Covid protocol makes this an awful experience. Have to wear mask, but AC is barely running. Now the music was amazing. Oh and lots of "Karens" ready to let you know what you are doing wrong.

I have loved this building for years! The architecture, the style, the location, the interior, everything. My husband and I go every couple years to hear the Houston Symphony. Our last attendance was for Once and it was fantastic!

They had socially distant seats and everything. The performance was astounding! Great show.

For a building a year older than I am, it's a great place for culture and live performances. The restrooms are a bit inconvenient, but I've always loved coming here.

I've always enjoyed Jones Hall and Houston Symphony prior to pandemic. Went for first time since pandemic last Saturday (Feb 13th). Outstanding social distancing practices in place. Vast majority off seats were blocked, allowing you probably the best viewing experience you can have. Ming Luke was the guest conductor for music illustrated presentation with Tobias using Google live brush to visualize the music. Ming is a very expressive conductor - wonderful to watch him direct. While the music was fantastic, the virtual reality movement on the side by Tobias became distracting and we tuned it out after a couple of pieces. One way to improve the experience may be to project the vr creation through holography. The monitors in the hall are way too small and very poor resolution to communicate the detail. It was very apparent the musicians loved performing for even the small audience (due to blocked seats - the show itself was sold out).

They do a great job of security and health checks for COVID. We always love the performances and sound in Jones Hall! It is tragically empty compared to before the virus but I am glad it's open again.

I enjoy going to Jones Hall!
I am so glad this KOVID Pandemic thing is being attacked.
Should have started back in February or March!

Musical quality was very good. Content was disappointing. From the description on your website, I was expecting more instrumentals such as string of pearls, swing, woodchoppers ball etc.

Visited the symphony and it was simply amazing! Brinton Smith (Principal Cellist) is so gifted and a joy to see perform in-person.
