Jorge's, Mt Pleasant TX

Authentic Mexican food and family owned. They don't water down their queso or beans. They're raspberry chimichanga dessert is mouth-watering. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Jorge himself stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with our meal and the service. I great appreciate Jorges commitment to being a man of faith especially in these uncertain times. I'll definitely be bringing my friends and family back to this restaurant.

Jorge and his family have a beautiful story. I love the food and love the family. If I want enchiladas.this is where I go. Prices are reasonable as well.

We stopped in on our way through to Mississippi from Texas. We asked the waitress if the white queso or yellow queso was better she said she didn't know. I think the staff could benefit from learning the menu and eating the actual food so they can let customers know what they're getting and offer their opinion on what they think taste the best. By the way we ordered the white queso and some flour tortillas for an appetizer. She brought the tortillas out and then our food came out. She never brought the queso so we asked that it be canceled and taken off our bill since the whole point of ordering it was for it to be an appetizer. Totally pointless. Just go somewhere else or just go in with no excepectation of receiving good service or good food and you will be perfectly fine!

Salsa good chips good sopes order never had them before I order them now my new favorite dish i hope yall keep this dish on the menu:)

Great hospitality! Friendly service! Fast service! They make you feel like you are family. I had the fajitas and they were the best I ever tasted

Just discovered this place! I'm not from here but was driving down Jefferson and the colorful exterior called to me. Then I saw the sign - Thursdays Enchiladas $4.95! I pulled in immediately. A shame I couldn't stay because the interior was at least as colorful as the exterior, also sparkling clean. But the owner greeted me and took my order to go. He had it ready in two minutes, I kid you not! And oh wow it was goooood! Will for sure be back soon.

The service was excellent I think they have the best Tex Mex in town if you remember the old El Patio special George has one the prices are really good here come enjoy it like I did

Great atmosphere and the service and food were even better. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Would not recommend it to anyone sauce an chips was all liquid not tomatoes, chicken Monterey had no mushroom rice an beans not warm, table was rocking the whole time we ate then had to yell to the back to get someone to come check us out.

The papusas were not good. Way to thick and doughy with barely anything in them. Fajitas were good though. The hot sauce had good flavor but too runny.

Very slow service, and very dirty places inside. Flies flying over your food. Leaving dirty tables for over 20 minutes. Table was dirty and “cleaned” salt shakers were sticky and nasty. I was so disgusted that I couldn’t eat my food. If the public area was the way it was, was worried about behind the area.

First time there service was good food was excellent. Cheese dip was awesome. And afforadable too.

Very nice, and clean, comfortable ventilation system properly maintenance, affordable, and great daily lunch special, food, is, tasty seasoned with excellence, friendly waiters, and owner.

The food is consistently delicious. Service is friendly. The hot sauces are my favorite. Try the Pupusas Mixtas!

Very good. I especially love their salsa. It has some bite and a little fire to it so it doesn't just taste tomatoes.

Love the food and their Thursday special $4.99 for chicken flautas. Man they were good me and my wife love them she had cheese. Going tomorrow for fajitas for 2 @ $20.99
