Jos. A. Bank reviews
18Brian did an awesome job getting my wedding group fitted and having everything ready on time. Very skilled and knowledge. Definitely recommend going to see Brian at Jos. A. Bank!
Quality store with quality staff. Went in tonight with a suit that was poorly made at a location in dallas, asking if they could tailor it again to make it fit better. First salesman I talked to looked at every inch of the suit, saw all the weak spots that needed fixing, as well as the pants, and now It's way better! Awesome store!
The display stated that Marino wool sweaters are for $39, when I went to ring it up it showed full price. The associate checked the sign and called the manager to override the price. The manager refused to override the price and said that if I buy three sweaters then it will be $119. He said the sign on the display is wrong. He would not take the sign down or honor the price. Horrible customer service. The caliber of this store has gone down considerably. The associate agreed that they should honor the price but he refused. Galleria store is a whole lot better.
Wonderful, attentive service. Upscale selection of men's clothing, shoes and accessories. Quality merchandise; when on sale the prices are comparable to large department stores. On premises tailor to alter clothing within a reasonable timeframe.
Went in to get some nice casual dress clothes and was taken care of by Tony. He helped me find slacks, shirts, shoes and belts and understood exactly what I was looking for. This guy has style and class. The whole experience was 1st class. Going to refer Tony to all my friends. Thank you Tony.
Excellent service! Ask for Tammy Thompson. She was the most helpful and caring salesperson I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Tammy provided advice and options without being pushy. She even helped with colors and combinations to purchase outside of their store. I can't say enough about her service.
The advertised deals were not available in store on the first day of the event and the sales representative I was working with wasn't overly concerned. Will consider other options in the future.
Have shopped here for years. Excellent business attire and casual clothes for the more mature men.
Food/Product (s) : Just a lot of cheaply-made, mass-produced men’s clothing items. I wouldn’t waste money on something that’s going to need replacement in a year.
Parking: Sufficient for clientele.
Restroom (s) : N/A—did not use.
Customer Service: Horrible. The workers talk to you w/ a frown in their faces when it come into potentially buy your entire wardrobe from them. And they seem as if they’re in a rush to force your to buy something and get out of the store.
Cleanliness/Sanitation: Average
Recommend: No, I don’t recommend this store to anyone.
Renee was great, she helped me match some pants and shirt to a sport coat I had. Never had a bad experience there.
Very poor service by one sales lady. Told her we was there to rent a suit or tuxedo told us she would be with us and never came back to us. Had to go to another sales person to get any help.
I bought 2 suits and the back pocket wore a hole through in 2 months. The suit fabric is paper thin and I will never shop there again.
I needed a last minute blazer and pants for a wedding, and Renee was extremely helpful in making sure that I got everything that I needed. As someone who knows next to nothing about dress clothes, she spent a couple hours helping me and answered every single one of my questions. She made sure that my alterations were done on time as well, despite being rushed. I bought a second pair of pants which also needed to be altered, but when I went to pick them up it turns out that the alterations had never been made. She made sure to not charge me for those alterations and also made some extra alterations to my blazer free of charge that we were not able to get done before the wedding. As long as Renee works here, this will be my go-to place for any future dress clothes needs
Store was great found everything I was looking for. Beverly was very helpful finding exactly what I was looking for.
Inconsistent price modeling, nickel and dime, staff is commissioned so push items that you state you don't need. Purchased 2 sport jackets for $1098. First one was complimentary adjustment to sleeve length, other was ordered in.and charged $60 for sleeve length. Additionally, purchased multiple shirts and jeans- totaling 1700 in two weeks time. Would think I would be valuable customer.however, they work on point of sale commission with bonus for multiples. So.doesn't matter about consistency unless its dealing with their incremental bonus check. Really wish it were different because I now want only custom suits.
Yes! Good customer centric environment. Large selection of pants, shirts, ties, socks. Joseph A. Banks is a good store that feels a definite need between the department stores and custom tailors (even though they tailor too). But some locations forget about the everyday customer and focus on the ones you have to kiss up to. Jeans and a T-shirt are my weekend clothes not the weekdays. This location gets that. Ask for Patrick. He’s good at what he does.
Great customer service and was immediately greeted upon entering the store. Had quite a collection and variety to choose from, however renting selection was limited. Was looking for more of a royal blue suit for my husband and his groomsmen, but many of the shades of blue were dark or had a pattern.
I do admit that the gentleman who helped me did try to go above and beyond, but I ended up going elsewhere to complete my mission in seeking for the perfect suit.
Great store with a friendly staff however, I got measured for a "CUSTOM" suit on 1/26. They called me in on 3/1 to try on the suit and finalize the fit. The suit was beautiful and I was extremely excited to try on my first ever "CUSTOM" made suit. Behold, the pants were extremely small and the jacket didn't fit my arms. They then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't get the cut that I wanted in a "CUSTOM" siut; Instead of a slim fit I would have to purchase a different cut. Finally, they attempted to sell me an off the rack suit for the same exact price as the "CUSTOM" suit. It was at that point that I asked for my money back and left the store. I capitalized the word custom because this term is used loosely at Jos. A. Bank.
