18Had an amazing experience today with salesperson Saeed at the south congress location. He was so kind and respectful, answered all of my dad’s questions, and offered his professional guidance on several outfit choices. He made us feel at ease even though it was close to closing time. Hands down the best customer service I have received at a store before - I hope he gets the recognition he deserves from management!
Ordered a tux rental for a wedding on Monday and they told me it would be here Wednesday because I am flying out early and then they couldn’t find my order and now it’s supposed to arrive on Friday when I told them I wouldn’t be here. Don’t trust what they tell you here. I also paid a rush fee so now I guess I’ll order a tuxedo tshirt off Amazon!
Sales associate tried to con me into accepting store credit rather than a full refund on several jackets I am attempting to return. After insisting that I was within the return window, I was told that maybe if I called a customer service number, which he reluctantly gave me, they might be able to do a refund if I shipped the items back. Upon leaving the store, I looked up my order through the website and started the return process there. Processed with no issues and the last step was to ask me whether I wanted to return via FexEx or IN STORE. Don't appreciate being lied to nor being almost conned into accepting credit for nearly $1k worth of items that are eligible for full refund just because the clerk didn't feel like handling some returns that day. Cannot do further business with a company where this sort of thing occurs.
Overall lack of communication and professionalism amongst the staff. Missed due dates on tailoring. Called to confirm my suit was finished, they told me they reached out regarding follow-up measurements. They didn't, I never received a call or email and would have never known if I hadn't called myself. The only positive aspect I can mention is after going in for re-measurements, everything was ready next day. Don't expect accountability.
I had a a good time shopping here. They had an excellent recommendation for an overcoat for me, and was the experience overall quick and easy.
Customer service and quality of product were almost perfect. Only issue is I was told I was buying a size 36 Regular but given a size 38 Regular and it was never mentioned. I suspected the suit felt a bit bigger when I got home and sure enough it was a completely different size than advertised!
Rae (not sure how to spell it) was very helpful. Great experience buying a full dress outfit on very short notice.
One of the most arrogant encounters I have ever had. I was called a hillbilly and then was forced to sit there as I was measured on why it’s okay to be a hillbilly.
Nothing like spending $240 to get called names by a guy who then finds out what I do for work and proceeds to ask me question after question for advice.
Horrific customer service, outdated store decor and incompetent staff. Here's the suit I rented for my pre schooler (this is after the manager took my son's measurements six weeks prior). And I only have 2 days to find him new attire before my wedding.
Strongly discourage you from shopping here!
Edited to add: Jos A Banks did TRY to resolve the issues but it was too late as I didn't have time to pickup new rentals from the store on the day of my wedding. Their customer support team did the best they could given the situation which is appreciated.
I’ve been getting suits and some business casual clothes here for just over a year now! The customer service that Saeed brings is top notch, and he always finds something for me that makes me feel confident. I’d recommend any of my friends or clients here for sure!
Forgot my suit at home I needed one for a business appointment. Melissa got me squared away in a very timely fashion and help me coordinate the colors. Highly recommend! Saeed was very helpful as well
Hands down the best retail shopping experience in a long time. Too many retailers these days hire staff that just ride the clock and cash the check. That's it, no customer service. Not this time! We were in town for a conference and popped into this location to shop for groomsmen attire. Danny listened, put together and made suggestions and nailed it 100%. He was awesome to work with and set up a group account for the groomsmen in the wedding party. When the groom had some ordering issues with his local Albuquerque store, Danny jumped right in, made calls, worked out the problem and overnighted the needed swatch to the other store. Online shopping will NEVER replace such great customer service that we received. Thank you Danny. Jos A. Big fan of this company, but something is clearly wrong. Went during lunch and ONE associate for the entire store. He was courteous, but underdressed (jeans and a sweatshirt) He was measuring a Customer and informed 3 people in line it would be 30 mins before He could assist us. Two customers dropped their purchasee and walked out. I got service on a return, but comon. What are we turning into, Cuba? Service everywhere is bad and getting worse. Average is now great. Hire and Staff or shut your doors.
Ask for Sayeed at this location. Best service I have ever received from maybe anyone ever. He knows his craft and will get you measured, styled, and out the door quickly without being pushy or sales-y. He will figure what you need even if you have no idea when you enter the store.
The quality of the clothing at Jos A. Bank is the best of the mid-level men's formal clothing stores by a mile. Alteration turn around times are quick, and the communication is on point. Look no further!
Ask for Mr. Gerald Grey. He is everything a mensware professional and store manager should be and more. First time going into Jos A Bank seriously for three shirts and two pants. Gerald spent three hours with me putting me in different fits of shirts and pants, listening to my feedback, and making sure I would love my purchases. Will certainly be returning.
Had the best shopping experience in probably a decade! I received the most helpful service from Saeed. He was incredibly professional. He guessed my shirt size exactly right when I walked up, confirmed it by measuring, and the first shirt he picked out was exactly what I was looking for, and fit great. He had the shirt pressed and I was out the door in less than ten minutes since I walked in. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
I've been here several times and they are always short staffed. Plan on waiting 30-60 mins before someone is able to help you.
Saeed Forough Asst Manager meet us at the door with warm greeting and solved all my clothing needs. Matched Shirts, Jackets, ties, Pants, tailoring and solving out of stock items secured from other stores. Not many professionals like Saeed around town.
