Very rude and very unprofessional did not want to help out my stepdaughter because it's apart of a custody case. It took alot to get her to be open to the idea of a therapist and it's people like him that will have her closed off forever. He was only worried about his practice and the money he will lose out on if he needed to appear in court! Did not care about her needs what so ever. Did not offer any type of help or solution just quickly dismissed a child who needs help. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I was so appalled by this man and unprofessional approach to my daughter's needs and help. My daughter has been a victim of domestic abuse and other hardships in her young life. I was given the opportunity by the court system to have custody to pull her out of that awful environment. So if the system is handing custody over to the father it's something to it. This man spoke of fees and losing time and being reimbursed for losing potential appointments scheduled that day if needed in Court. Making it feel very unwelcome and as if did not want to help. Claiming attorneys are very unprofessional and rude and only think of the case at had and hardly ever give a fair chance to be aware that he will be subpoena. Very confrontational cold and rude is the way he handled the situation. Worse my daughter was present to hear him. I left immediately with my daughter she was upset and in tears saying this is why she didn't want to open up because of people like him that don't care and only look forward to a pay day. It took a lot for me to get her to open up the idea of counseling because it's been hard for her to talk about her experiences. I hope that the right attention is brought forth and light on this man and his practice

I had an awful experience with Mr. Gonzalez. I booked a session with him to talk about my depression and binge eating. He talked for 98% of the session and gave advice completely out of his scope of practice before he even allowed me to talk about my struggles. It was a virtual visit and he made assumptions about my life that were completely incorrect and then proceeded to talk about how it related to HIS life. Instead of listening with empathy he went on and on about things in HIS childhood. He recommended I consider his interpretation of the bible and that if I chose to have more children they would resent me. This was a direct attack on something a mother already fears. Family planning is a deeply personal matter and is between a husband and wife and their doctor. I had to defend my beliefs within the first five minutes. He then went on to ask if I needed parenting advice and I said no, that I am confident in my parenting. But he proceeded to give me advice anyway. Before even listening to what I may need to work on. He suggested 1 2 3 Magic and I told him I had already read it. His advice wasn't bad but it was in no way applicable to my life. Then I wanted to talk a little about my binge eating. I told him I have done restrictive dieting in the past and it leads to me bingeing. Since it was a virtual visit, he had 0 insight to my body composition and other health data like blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. But once I told him my weight he went on to suggest not 1, but 3 diets. Keto, Atkins, and IF. I tried to stop him to tell him I have tried Keto and it lead to severe anxiety and insomnia (which is common in women since Keto dieting leads to low magnesium). But he went on to explain Keto to me anyway. I should have just hung up. Why would someone with a binge eating issue do more restrictive dieting? He then suggested getting rid of "treats" that I probably have around for the kids. I was baffled. Why am I explaining to this guy that we DON"T have treats in the house. We don't allow snacks other than pretzels and veggies and fruit. I was so hurt and infuriated. I needed help and support for depression and binge eating and this man pretty much fueled those issues even more. Without hearing anything about my life (besides my faith) he suggested drastic changes to my (a) method of family planning, (b) marriage, (c) diet, (d) faith, and (e) parenting. If I could give negative stars I would.
