Julie's Restaurant, Catering, & Bakery reviews
18We met some friends in Texarkana for a day of thrift shopping. When we were planning this trip, we saw Julie's and read the reviews. It sounded like the kind of place we like to eat at so we decided to give it a try. It's definitely a local favorite, and the food was great. Will most likely come back the next time we're in Texarkana.
Julie’s was our choice for catering our dessert table in November for my daughters birthday. She made her special day one to remember with the attention to detail, and delicious dessert table. Thank you
Absolutely great little place with plenty of selection of local supplies in the store. But I will say if you go during any normal time to eat it is going to be packed. It is very popular but still worth it. Nice. Deli/ burger shop with a great selection of food and other local stuff
Wonderful little café! The food was amazing and fresh. Totally didn't expect the level of service, but the people were so friendly and helpful about any questions we had on the menu items. The soup was homemade and delicious with chucks of beef and vegetables. The sandwich had huge slices of mozzarella, and it was toasted to perfection. The side salad was simple but tasty. Tried to go again, but it was closed on Sunday!
I had the club sandwich. It was by far the best club I've ever eaten, and I've had a lot of club sandwiches. I'm going to get another soon.
Quick and Great service, delicious food. Easy and accurate directions. Was a hit for our dinner event highly recommend
I had the whole hog omelette. Really glad I did I have happy belly now.
The girls had the french toast. That was oh my goodness good!
The biscuits and gravy were amazing and the cheese omelette was perfect.
So glad we went local.
Got the meatloaf and teriyaki chicken and rice with my fiance. I'm absolutely blown away. I don't think I've ever had a melt in your mouth effect from chicken before. Delicious. Well worth the money.
Stopped in to find a gluten free brunch and it was AMAZING! Staff were friendly, atmosphere was relaxed, and you HAVE to get the gluten free brownie - it was orgasmically good!
Julie's has the very best cakes! I've ordered some for birthdays and they are amazing! Everyone always raves about how good they are. They also have great lunches and do an awesome job with catering.
2 staff members asked if my animal was a service animal and 1 of them asked if she had papers.
That's not how customers should be greeted folks.

I read the reply. Guys, there is a way to approach people and if the cameras were watched, people would see how I was approached.
They were rude and I got stared at. Not cool.
The fastest, easiest way to get home-cooking, without actually cooking. Drop in, grab the chicken spaghetti from the freezer, pay, go home.
It is expensive, but the portion size easily makes 6-8 servings.
Dine in is also available.
Clean facility, nice seating areas.
Good food and very friendly staff. I was visting my grandmother and we decided to get take out. The food was delicious and it was really great to see how well they treated her (she says she orders food frequently from here). I only have really great things to say about this place! I wish they would open a location in Houston.

Nice deli with a small market inside just off 40.
Amanda was really helpful and friendly as she went around to check on everyone.
Diane had the Hot Croissant and I had the queche Lorraine with chicken and rice soup.
My quiche was a even mix of flavors with spinach, ham, bacon and Swiss cheese 9n a tasty flaky crust. My only complaint was that the serving was a bit small.
The soup was called creamy but was thin like chicken noodle soup. I never found any chicken however, it was very good.
QUICK UPDATE; After mentioning the lack of chicken to Amanda, she checked the batch and the cook had messed up so she refunded the soup and gave us one of their famous strawberry cream cupcakes. Now that's service you just don't see anymore!
Diane. The house baked croissant was super light and flaky, with a wonderful buttery taste. The ham and Swiss cheese were just the right amount and great flavor together. It comes with Lay's potato chips, but I substitutes Miss Vicky's they had at the counter.
FYI: They do have a take home dinner case that you can get to eat at the restaurant but they don't state that on the menu. Should be noted so folks know!
Highly recommended two thumbs-up
We travel for work and frequently pass through Texarkana many times a month. Can't believe we haven't stopped at this long time hidden gem. We ordered omelettes for our Saturday brunch and a sweet treat (cupcake)! Omelette and brunch potatoes were so good. Eggs were fluffy with very fresh ingredients! There was a little confusion with one of our omelettes but they quickly fixed it and gave us another complimentary cupcake! Cupcakes were so yummy also! Will definitely be back when passing through the area again!
I am amazed by the lack of pride, if going to be priced like a 5 star restaurant you would think the food would be cooked right.served right. Especially when someone buys the same thing each week. Well if you are looking for dried out hamburger, soggy tiny order of fries, wrong sauce or none at all this is the place for you!
Wow! Prices are kinda high, but for a reason. The food and desserts that they make here at Julie's Deli are amazingly out of this world. I will gladly pay the prices asked for that quality of food and desserts. The cakes are superb. Which one? All of them! Soups and sandwiches for lunch were the bomb.
I ordered the Chicken spaghetti on last Wednesday, it was very good, but it should called 'cheesy spaghetti' instead of chicken because there was very little chicken!
