Jungle Island Family Entertainment Center, Austin TX

CALL BEFORE to get prices. In July 22,2023 (Saturday), prices were as follows, 0-3 was $5 and 4 and up was $10 for the jungle gym. A little pricey in my opinion for jungle gym and a few games. Thankfully adults are free to get in if not going to jungle gym. I would give it another star if the air conditioning was better and the jungle gym had better lighting.

Went here for the first time… I stay on the north side of Austin and wanted to try something different and drove to South Austin to bring my toddler to a place that had the AC barely working it was so hot we had to leave (The weather is 88 degrees outside today) and we’re charged $18 and we’re not even there for an hour. Frankly I’d like my money back And we will not be returning here again

The food was actually good, but the restaurant its self has lots of flaws. For one, the sign is damaged which looks weird, also I got big red, which I didn't ask for. I then picked up my meal, but my utensils didn't even work! They were so hard to use. Then, after I finished my meal, I went to get a fortune cookie. The fortune cookie was empty with no text at all. Like, how is that even a fortune cookie? In conclusion, the restaurant did not approve in my opinion.

Dont do it This place is gross, bathrooms are nasty, most the arcade games are broken - we wont be back.

Great value for an easy afternoon. It's smaller than some of the other places in town, but that made it easier to keep track of my kids. Nice staff, not too crowded, and affordable. We'll definitely be back.

This is a super awesome place to spend the day with the family! Friendly staff and a well maintained facility.

Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Nice place to bring the younger kids for a couple of hours of fun.

Dirty, dirty, dirty facility. Roof leaks and there were towels and a bucket to catch the drips IN THE PLAY STRUCTURE. Hazardous environment for toddlers. Games are rip off and either have to pay multiple times to get them to work and/or don't credit you the tickets you won. Won't be back. Don't recommend.

This is an inexpensive way to let a small kid run around. Our toddler had a good time in the climbing area. For what it's worth, it only cost my husband, son and I $11 to chase him around while he got his energy out. The jungle part is well designed and has a good flow. There are nice jungle paintings on the walls. And yes, it was quite dark when we were there but in some ways it added to the aesthetic.
Our only qualms were that (and perhaps they were working on getting someone out there soon) there was hardly a single working game. We started to actually look around to see if maybe we just weren't looking hard enough. Unfortunately there was sign after sign saying "Out of Order".
Luckily our toddler didn't know the difference between broken games and working ones. He just mashes buttons.
All in all, thankful we could let him climb to his heart's content out of the harsh summer heat.

Nice place and inexpensive. We would totally come back. This indoor playground in the summer is very nice to visit!

We loved it! Traveled here for our kids. The food was great and so was the play place! The games were okay…I’ve been to some where the claw machine actually works but these few games the claw was closing before it even dropped. However for the games per points it wasnt too expensive and we really got our moneys worth! One way in and out for the play place so parents can sit and relax and watch their babies play!

I had my sons bday party there last week. It was amazing, everyone had a great time with almost no complaints. Over 40 people attended. Place was very clean and food was good. All we had was pizza and wings. Drink station may need to be cleaned up. The Sierra mist had almost a tan color. I don't remember there being any games out of service but they are extremely over-priced. The jungle play area is neat. But people are right it is very dark in some places. But other than that I know for a fact there were more than 2 workers there the whole time. We had the party in a Saturday.

Most games are broken leaving my children unhappy. The ONLY good thing about this place is the climbing structure but it is NOT worth coming back EVER. Do not waste your time or your money here. Go to chuck-e-cheese if you want a good time for your kids.

I love it my grandchild had fun and I got to play air hooky with him it was so much fun. The food is good the manager is nice. Co-workers too.

It was fun and all but really hot they said they barley cut on the AC. I would’ve thought the AC would’ve been on from the time it opened.

Dirty. Dark and the workers left while we were there.
Trash and pizza crusts all over the floors and play area. The play area was so dark my youngest was scared to go in alone. I’m guessing it’s because they were storing some boxes behind it and didn’t want you to know. There’s always at least some games that are broken or not on. There were two employees working and both left at the same time. We waited 10 minutes for them while saying “hello is anyone there” eventually my boyfriend went in the kitchen to look for them and couldn’t find anyone so he scanned our points card and got our kids the prizes they wanted within our point range (nothing extra). We joked about taking more because there was literally nobody working. As we left there was still nobody there and wow we really could have just taken whatever we wanted. There was another family in there as well so it’s not like they just didn’t see us. It’s slightly more convenient than gattie town because there’s never anyone there but seriously how is this place open?

We came here at 6: 30 pm and they told us that they are no longer serving food. Upon entering we saw some people at a table with food, so I don't know what that's about but we won't be coming back.

Not happy with this place at all! Most of the games were either broken or not in service! The only 2 ladies that were working both left at the same time to go " cash their checks" and left a note "be back in 5 minutes"? But it was way longer than 5 minutes! My grandkids had fun but not alot. Had to go to the BIG CHEESE! I will only go back to redeem my tickets they won cuz I couldn't get it since the workers didn't care about abandoning their job!

This place should get negative stars it’s disgusting half the machines don’t work and the staff is awful we went there to book 2 separate birthday parties for over 40 kids advise you look elsewhere
