K Family Dentistry General Cosmetic Emergency Implants, Pflugerville TX

If you want to communicate in Korean and this is your first time visiting an American dentist, I highly recommend this place. When I came to the United States, I heard that scaling (cleaning) was covered for free under dental insurance, so I went to any hospital. I went to a place called Advanced Smiles Dental, P. A, and they told me to deep clean and apply 4 resins. So, I did it when I went to Korea, but it caused a problem. I talked about this with another friend who is working as a dentist in the U. S, and he told me that the hospitals I went to, aside from their skills, were all about making money. Even with my colleagues in the United States, most dental clinics in the United States operate more for business purposes than for the health of my teeth in order to make money.

I came across this place while looking for a Korean dentist, wondering if communicating in Korean would reduce these problems. What I felt after going to the dentist and getting a consultation was that Dr. Peter Kim was really kind and, more than just a business minded person, he really cared about my dental health. I could feel it. The 4 resins I received before were actually things that didn't need to be done, and if I hadn't messed with them there, my teeth wouldn't have become more uncomfortable than they are now, but I really regret that I should have gone here a long time ago.

After the treatment, the insurance company told me that they had to charge me more money. I was shocked for a moment and thought that this was a business place, but when I called, they said it was the insurance company's fault and that I did not have to pay the money. I think this is a place where you can be truly satisfied from start to finish, and he is a person who cares about his patients. Location-wise, it's a bit far from where I am, so I might hesitate, but I know how difficult it is to find a good dentist without going to the dentist a few times a year, so I think it would be good in many ways to go here if it takes 20-30 minutes. I don't often leave reviews, but I'm leaving a review for people who have difficulty finding a dentist.

Friendly staff and explains in detail the existing condition, the procedure and process and the cost. Truly exceptional service who cares about their patients.

Everyone was friendly and I loved that I could see the enlarged x-ray images on a screen in front of me and understand any potential concerns. The teeth cleaning was top notch and they were able to remove stains that my last dental team did not.

Very nice office. Professional staff. Dr. Peter was extremely thorough in my examination and was quick and gentle filling my cavities!

I haven’t been to the dentist in 5+ years until I went here. I have never felt as welcomed to a dental office than I did at K Family Dental. I couldn’t imagine going to any other place. Ale, Diana and Dr. Peter made sure I understood everything that was going on and made it as comfortable as possible! If you’re ever feeling nervous about going to a new dentist, look no further!:)

I like how the doctor explained everything with pictures. He didn't act like he didn't have time for questions.

So this was my first time with this dentistry and with the reviews looking so high I expected excellence. However, my experience was terrible. Not only was u crying during my entire cleaning and operation but the dentist continued while I was in pain. He did so without stopping or checking how to make me comfortable. In addition I went to another dentist office to get an estimate on how many cavities I had because they quoted me 6. When I got to 2nd dentist office (for a second opinion) they stated I only had 4 CAVITIES! So I would say before you make this your dentist office please do research. I wish I would have!

First visit, impressed by service and attention to my needs. Everything was explained in depth and care options were presented. Will be returning for follow up visit.

I’ve had 3 checkups at K Family Dentistry now. All have been pleasant experiences and the staff are nice and informative.

My husband found this K Family Dentistry from his Facebook page and decided to go to this place for cleaning after so many issues and bad experiences with our previous dentistry. After good comment coming from my husband and I immediately made an appointment for cleaning.
My main concern was the staining on my teeth that was not properly cleaned by both appointments with my previous hygienist. Diana (hygienist) at K Family Dentistry, cares about patient concerns and after the visit, I told my husband that I couldn’t remember when was the last time I had this clean and stainless teeth and I am so grateful to have a hygienist who is so into her job. I’m a new patient due to my dentist retiring and I didn’t like the new dentist that bought his practice. Dr Peter is who I saw and it was a wonderful experience. Very friendly staff and Dr Peter spent a lot of time explaining everything. I received a detailed plan before I left and the dental assistant explained it in detail. I couldn’t be happier with this office.
