I was in total distress when my stylist canceled on me at the last minute and I just could not go to work with a big afro I called k a f u i to see if they had anything available and she quickly responded Yes you can come ASAP. The treatment that I received when I walked in the door was outstanding the energy in this place both of the ladies were accommodating and laughing they did speak in their language but she also translated what they were saying so we all could laugh together lol It took 3 hours to do small medium not less mid-back with crinkles I must say I will be returning these ladies were classy professional and my hair was phenomenal My 16-year-old son told me when I walked in the door dang Mom your hair is pretty that is the first time he's ever said anything like that before Just saying anyway I love the vibe I love the salon I love the location and I love the two ladies who took care of me today Thank you I appreciate you Jah bless

Found them literally at the last minute and I was still welcomed. I've had the Senegalese Twists before, but this is the first I actually liked it. They asked me what I wanted & made sure it was exactly what I desired. The stylists were very patient, attentive, informative and did very good work. My hair is manageabe, light, & full looking. I can actually style it without pain and its swingable. One thing being fairly new to Houston, there location wasn't hard to find and is close to the area I live. This was my first time visiting but it definitely will not be my last.

Kafui is one of the best braiders I've gone to in a very long time! Her work is very neat and she will not have you in the chair from sun up to sun down. You can show her a picture of what you want and she's able to execute the style. The first time we spoke, she was able to accommodate me regarding the location. Now she's in her own shop, so that's no longer an issue! CONGRATULATIONS KAFUI! I look forward to you braiding my hair many more times. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I asked Kafui to braid my hair for my vacation. I showed her a picture and when I tell you she slayed my hair. I thought braiding my hair would’ve taken 5 hours and it only took her 3 hours to do! I love my hair and my braids. My hair wasn’t tight at all! She can braid my hair anytime. Her prices are reasonable and worth every penny! Kafui has a for sure customer with me!
