My Nurse Practitioner, Jessica and the clinic staff are awesome, they are always friendly and awesome bedside manners. I really appreciate the ability to interact and address my concerns

I wasted my time, energy, sanity, and money going here.

My last appointment I was told there was nothing wrong with me.

I responded that there obviously was, literally cried in front of my docto about how my quality of life has substantially decreased. And he responded with telling me that something’s will just be a mystery.

When I asked if I’m suppose to just live the rest of my life this way he gave no bed side manner. Told me there is nothing he can do because an mri says I’m normal. And shook my hand.

I made it very clear from day 1 I wanted to find the reason for my atypical ocular migraines as I’m wanting to start a family. I don’t want to be on any medication long term as non are safe to carry a child with (especially because everything I tired to this point had not worked)

This last appointment was getting me off this last medication he had predictive that on eve again was not working. And when I asked what the next steps were to help me find the root cause I was dismissed like every other time I had visited.

Going here helps me understand why so many people don’t trust doctors.

Luckily I am on a waitlist to the headache specialist dept at it southwestern who’s staff has even very supportive, listening, informative, and educational.

I wouldn’t waste time here if you want more than a medication fix for symptoms.

2 days later, still no call from the office manager, Judy Holder.
This is how this practice is run.
What type of office manager doesn't care enough to make a simple phone call? Is this a place you'd like to be a patient at?
Me either.

Horrible staff and the absolute dumbest back-office supervisor, Maureen. She can't even read OR comprehend the English language. If you're a patient, #1 I feel sorry for you and #2 don't bother with that ridiculous portal because they (especially Maureen) won't or can't understand a word you are writing, so it's literally useless.
I asked to have the practice manager call me, and guess what?
yep, no call.
Not surprised though.
No wonder why this place has such a huge turnover in MA's and front office staff.
And Stacey Marino, before you respond with your "contact this number" generic speech, I will not be contacting anyone. You have my number, somebody can contact me.

I would give zero stars if possible. I am disappointed in the care I have received, or more accurately not received! In September 2022 I was told I would be referred to a neuro ophthalmologist. Two weeks later I drove an hour, waited an hour to see someone only to be told they don’t have neuro ophthalmologist and they have no idea why I would have been referred to their office. After bringing this to their attention I was told a referral would be sent to UTSouthwestern. After a couple of weeks I called to see if a referral had been received. They said no, check with my neurologist. So I called them and they would tell me they sent it but they would resend it. This happened so many times I lost count over the period of three months. I couldn’t understand why someone wouldn’t just pick up the phone and make a call to see why it wasn’t being received. Instead I continued calling back and forth. I’ve left several messages thru the patient portal and have never gotten a response. The last message I asked to be contacted by the office manager because I was extremely upset that no one would even help me. It honestly doesn’t make sense to me. If you don’t want someone as a patient you should just tell them. Sigh. In January I explained the situation to my pcp and he said he would send a referral off. I received a text from UTSouthwestern 2 days later saying they had received my referral. Crazy! What no one could do in 3 months at Kane Hall Barry my pcp accomplished in 2 days. What bothers my the most is that Dr. Khalon, his nurses, the staff, and the office manager don’t even care that someone had to go thru this experience. I will never return or ever ever refer anyone to this practice. I seriously needed help and Dr. Khalon and his staff ignored me. The only reason I kept reaching out was because Dr. Khalon felt I needed to see a specialist and I knew I did before I lost anymore of my vision. I really thought they were going to help me. And please don’t respond to my message with some generic response asking me to call your office. I’ve asked to speak with an office manager already. I have yet to hear back from anyone!

I have been a patient here for years and have to come often for shots for my migraines. Every single time they tell me to come “anytime” and I end up waiting 40+ minutes. Don’t tell me to come anytime if me waiting in your lobby for almost an hour is going to be the result. It happened again today where I have a migraine so bad I could throw up. I waited from 12: 30-1: 30 and was never seen. I ended up leaving in tears. It takes less than 5 minutes to administer the shots. Beyond frustrated is an understatement. I will not be back. Shame on you.

I was experiencing head tremors and chronic pain in neck and was told by the doctors it was all in my head! Now7 years later still have pain!

Doctor Ansari, RN’s Tracey and Devin at the Bedford center are the best. They all help me to understand my MG and are in the process of helping me to better days ahead.

Was denied my appointment because I had an outstanding balance. The receptionist let everyone in the waiting area know I owed money and my appointment today was denied. She shamed me. Your motto should be "profits over patients" will NEVER go back there

They provided excellent service and support -especially as having a frustrating situation such as mine, taking the time to explain everything out to me. I would highly recommend them

Took them two weeks to respond to my referral just one day prior to my appointment. Would not recommend them even if they were the only neurology clinic in the city! These people are just dumb.

Doctor listen to what my husband was saying. Explained clearly what he believed the issue is, what he was going to do and why. We left feeling confident about working with Dr. Ansari. Everyone we dealt with professional, courteous, and efficient. We felt they cared about making us feel comfortable and at ease.

My visit was with Dr. James Barry. The facility in Keller is a extremely clean facility. The staff, from the time I entered to the time I left were extremely friendly and helpful. My wait time was less than 5 minutes once I checked in. Dr. Barry is an expert in his field of neurology. At my age (68) and having issues, I went to the best in the business. He was very professional, kind and a no nonsense doctor. What I like best is he doesn't sugar coat his answers and is straight shooter. I highly recommend Dr. Barry for a neurological issues. I rate my total experience as a 10/10.

They came to my rescue after a serious Ms attack last year. For 18 years I was good on betaseron injections. My neuro retired. New one put me on new medication that didn't agree with me and I wasn't happy with him. Luckily I found this practice and have been very happy with these Dr. 's. Dr. Barry and Dr. Kane and their staff are great. And the gals at the Bedford infusion center Rock! Currently on Tysabri so far so good!

My experience with Kane Hall Barry was a good one. I felt welcome and was immediately relaxed instead of fearful of the upcoming procedure. The doctor and his assistant explained what was found and that the results would be sent to my doctor in time for my appointment the next day. I would recommend them to anyone needing this service.

Have been a patient of Dr. Barry's for nearly 10 years and the progress I have made since my accident I do not believe would have been possible without his treatment, advice, or wisdom. His staff is top of the line. If it were to have another brain injury, I would not trust anyone else but Dr. Barry to lead my team.

I couldn't ask for a better Neurologist, EVER! The BEST Dr's and staff 24/7. Fantastic beside manners and are there for you in a minutes notice. Prescription refill, no problem! Need an infusion, no problem! Helped me get Botox after many years of migraines. Such a pleasant experience (even if needles are involved) every time!
