Scott is fantastic and highly knowledgeable. He helped my grandma and me get some new shoes and inserts. He was very patient with my 90-year-old grandma. We will be coming back again and asking for him.

Most knowledgeable salespeople. They'll find your fit, and even if it's a backorder, it's worth the wait.

This place is a really awesome, multigenerational, locally owned business. Stephen is amazing and very knowledgeable. I was drawn to this place, because of the brand selection in searching for plantar fasciitis footwear. As avid Altra Footwear, it was great to speak with someone directly who has worn Altra for years and knows about my specific foot needs. He also assessed my feet before making recommendations. I was very pleased to find exactly what I had been looking for—an insert specifically for running and one for casual wear. I look forward to returning and purchasing my next pair of Altras— if not another Lone Peak, then maybe the Paradigm.:)

The male sales associate who was older with a white beard and fairly short (not Scott) Scott was very helpful, who was working at five pm Jan 10th, I believe his name was Jeff or Mark (for identification purposes). Was very rude and kept following me around and trying to get me out of the store even fifteen minutes before closing. He was glaring at me the whole time and when I asked for the other sales associate was with my shoes he repeatedly told me his name was Scott. As if I meant to insult him by not knowing his name? I have never been to this store before…. And won’t be going again because of this aggressive and rude man.

I needed assessment of wear areas on my Brooks running shoe and my New Balance walking shoe, both bought from Karavel in person where I have received excellent, detailed shoe advice and sales for years. I always learn something useful each visit, and for this one, Ryan was excellent to assess wear points, show me some details of the foam constructions, why wear points occurred specific to my footwear use, and how to mitigate in future. I went away with a new Brooks at a very good price, well fitted and a better understanding of how to extend the life of my shoes. Here thanking Karavel Shoes and its staff!

Good customer service. Staff seems driven to ensure you are purchasing the correct shoes, but also understanding to any reservations you may have.

Excellent place to go for shoes! Scott was amazing and was able to quickly tell me why feet have been hurting so much. He spent the right amount of time finding the shoes that met my needs. I was able to get 2 new pairs of shoes and noticed almost instant relief the same day and the next day. Highly recommend going here for shoes that fit well and meet your needs.

I have been a loyal customer for many years. However my recent experience there was very different than past experiences. I felt like the salesperson sold me shoes that were not appropriate for me and I ended up returning them. When I return them she was very cold to me and was not at all helpful. It was just not what I have come to expect. I did have a different experience getting athletic shoes with a doctor's prescription. I have since bought the street shoes that I intended to buy at Karavel at Instep and I'm wondering if that will be my new shoe store.

Great customer service. I took my parents to buy them some shoes. We were immediately greeted and assigned a sales associate. That associate answered all our questions and took his time making sure my parents were well taken care of. Great experience, great staff, great store

Talked to the front desk over the phone and they were extremely rude. We have bought from Karavel before and they were reluctant to give our shoe insole information and claimed they don’t want to give out that information.

I thought I knew a lot about shoes. But it changed after meeting TK in Karavel. After wearing the shoes he recommended, I developed respect for him as Certified Pedorthist. I bought 2 pairs of sneakers and 1 slipper with arch support. And the shoes are very comfortable and even cool. Thank you, TK! Thank you, Karavel!

Terrible experience I called ahead and asked if they had a specific shoe and size they said come on in there shouldn't be any issues having that in stock then I arrive and they don't have any available! So absolutely unprofessional and disappointing for such a well known store

Such an perfect in-store shopping experience! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. Was able to answer all of my questions even beyond what I asked. I walked out feeling like I truly made the best choice.

I came here desperately seeking new athletic shoes. I was greeted by Johnathan, and explained the issues I have with my high arches. He introduced me to Brooks shoes, a good option for my feet. He inquired as to color preferences and brought me out two styles. We had a great conversation about the advantages of each and I made a decision. I was in and out in 20 minutes with a perfectly fitting, arch supporting, pair of shoes. (Plus, they were on sale!) It was a great experience!

Wow! Nice to meet "salt of the earth" people who still work In full service industries. Incredible service, extremely personable, knowledgeable, hard-working "shoe salesman ". Whaat? Garrett Kraus has restored my faith in people who care about foot comort and health, not the sale. The variety of brands to accommodate multiple foot ailments is amazing. Thanks Karavel and Garrett.
