Katie's Frozen Custard, Waco TX

It's too damn expensive, in my opinion, for custard! It's good but not over 20 dollars good for two people to eat a little custard.

Custard is so much better than ice cream, yes it has more fat in it, but you aren't eating it everyday. I get the hot fudge Sunday with extra whip cream, no cherry. It's to die for!

Dont go here I got food poisoning and the soda i bought tasted terrible and the food got me sick.

I got the texas turtle which was so amazing. The place is family friendly and affordable prices.

Strawberry banana custard with whipped cream and nuts or the Texas turtle sundae try it one time your hooked always hits that sweet spot 2 thumbs up.

Great! A little pricey, server's not very friendly per say. No complaints about the treats. Quick stop.

This place wad amazing! The staff was super kind and I felt very comfortable there. The ice cream was phenomenal and for a good price too. I definitely recommend going here and am probably going back myself too very soon.

Not really a wait, nice an friendly. Ordered a fudge brownie sunday medium RC drink and a Large Strawberry with banana Sunday. It was really delicious.

Great place for a refreshing dessert. Their custards are delicious. The strawberry banana custards are delicious and can be shared. Must visit when in Waco.

Good place for a nice sweet treat, but staff could be a little better about offers and advertisement. They made a post on their Facebook page for BOGO turtle sundaes for 3/2/23. On the text of the post it said the offer was also valid on 3/3/23 until close for the BOGO. When i went there and asked if it was still being offered (because it said so on the page) they seemed confused and told me they weren't sure. I showed them the post they made on their Facebook page and was told that it ended yesterday and she didn't know what i was talking about.or know anything about it.
I'm fine not getting the ice cream, but just annoyed at the fact that the employees would act as if they had no clue what i was talking about when they are the ones that run a facebook page for their business and aren't aware of what they post. If its incorrect info then take it down so customers aren't falsely led.

Have been a loyal customer of Katie’s. I have been a long time customer and love going there with family and friends when they are in town, although I do find it pricey. I finally came across an online coupon for one of my favorite items. Locals luv us website says they can be used online. I stated this and manager said he could not accept it although coupon has a redeem deal here button which states it can only be used by a store representative. Manager did not accept online coupon and said it has to come from the magazine. I asked where I can find said magazine for my next visit he said “I do not know”. For a manager he was not helpful. I still went ahead and bought my niece something because i promised her but I told her we will be trying out new custard places from now on. I will no longer be returning to Katie’s. Plenty of other places I can go with helpful customer service! I think Andy’s custard will now be mine and my family and friends new go-to custard place.

Not enough food for the pricing, portions are small. Not sure if condiments like ketchup or mustard are available we weren't offered and I do not want to go back to the window for the 5th time. They forgot one of our frito pies and put cheese on my sons chili dog after requesting no cheese. I ordered 2 rocky road sundaes but the cashier put 2 turtle custards asked to exchange it and she said no. Not sure how this place has such good reviews must be because they have been here a long time because this ain't it. The sundaes were good if that makes a difference.

Love stopping here whenever I'm passing through. Still the best frozen custard I've ever had!

Katie's has the best custard in Waco! It's always so good! Andy's custard can't even compete. Katie's is the best:)

I have loved custard all my life! It's good for you! Sadly I had been convinced that custard just tasted better up north when I was younger, but I tried Katie's custard and their custard tastes better than any other custard I have ever found in Texas! It takes me back to childhood. You can tell that the ingredients are pure and of good quality. This is my favorite place!
