KB Home Katy Manor Trails reviews
5I was supported throughout the entire home-buying process. The lines of communication were kept open by all parties (initial contact with Delores; loan officers- Lesley & Von; superintendent- Bobby & Chris). Everyone made this a stress-free experience
We had a terrible experience today at KB home sales office at Katy Manor Trails. Such a rude lady who came to show us the model home and she did not answer any of our questions as though she has no Interest or passion for her job. She stood in a corner surfing her phone. I’m sure KB homes must have heard her complaint before but this is first time ever I had such a worse experience. Hope KB takes some action on her.
Due to the market, not going to be the right solution for my client at this time. But they were helpful and friendly trying to get us the information we needed for my client to consider them as a home purchase option.
We bought our house a year ago and I can say the rep for warranties in this area always ensured we had repairs done in a timely fashion and was extremely responsive. However you can tell the homes were built as fast as possible with little regard to quality. Also in comparison to other neighborhoods in the area we have the absolute POOREST amenities. The parks suck and so do the cheap “splash pads” which aren’t even kept up maintenance wise.
How is it we pay over 3 hundred K for homes but have no community pool, or at least decent parks/ amenities.
Honestly KB homes is some shady builder. But that’s not a surprise to anyone considering it’s one of the biggest mass home builder in the country.
My in-laws bought a home here and paid extra for “premium” tile. But you know what you get for “premium” tile after 2 years? Cracked tile like I’ve never seen before. Worst of all is that KB homes won’t accept responsibility and blames the tile company yet they are offering this tile as an upgrade in their showroom. If your floor cracks, don’t take the cash settlement. Demand that they fix it or else you’re gonna be spending an extra $8-10 grand to replace this “upgrade”.
