Ziggy is a dear friend an ama I got perdón and just as amazing is Ziggy is his restaurant and staff. This place will go down in history like stage katz in ny Russ and daughters Carnegie 2nd ave deli this is an icon I can’t rave enough. Thank you Ziggy to you and your amazing team

Everything about this place is wonderful! Our server, Jorge, was friendly and attentive. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The food is out of this world delicious! We now drive 50 minutes to come eat because it's worth the drive.

What a delight this place is! One is quickly seated by the hostess. The ambience is bright and cheerful with a lot of memorabilia and posters on the walls celebrating the NYC connection. There was a table full of large family near us who were quite loud. We did not mind. This seemed like a place that people and their families come to over and over for decades.

The menu is as tall as a newspaper and is chalk full of options. It is a little intimidating (in a good way) at first. The saving grace is that the menu is so funny and you can point at any item with a blind eye and be assured that it would be good. Taking suggestions from our waiter we ordered the following and here are our ratings:

Dip Tracy - French Dip - 5/5 Very nice french dip. Roast beef was soft nd juicy. The au jus was not runny and well concentrated with flavor. The french fries were good, but a little under salted. The macaroni salad was such a delight!

Fiddler On The Roof Of Your Mouth - 5/5 Huge sandwich with meat piled high. Both the corned beef and pastrami were very good. The rye was soft in the center and crisp on the edges. The cole slaw was brimming with freshness because the dressing was applied with a light touch.

Cheesecake Plain - 5/5 Pretty much the best cheesecake I have had. It was yuge! Very thick, creamy, and very well balanced. Unbelievably good.

Yes, prices are on the higher side, but is well worth it given the impeccable quality of ingredients, the excellent cooking skills, the huge portion sizes, the prime location, and the wonderful ambience which is casual and curated at the same time. We shall definitely be back. Kenny & Ziggy is a Houston institution! I wish them luck with the upcoming move to the new location nearby.

The ambiance was truly genuine of an NYC deli. Generous plate and modestly priced. Pickles were amazing. The Reuben which is what I had was delicious.

This is the best deli there is, quality of food is excellent, service is excellent there is nothing else to say.

I love Kenny & Ziggys. The honestly have the best burger in town so good so juicy! Of course their sandwiches are bomb! And they have the biggest apple in H-town! Been coming here for 10 years now and I’m more impressed with each visit

Had the most amazing Reuben, the flavor matched the size of this massive open faced sandwich. Everything was in balance and was delicious.

On the pricy end, but it is well worth it.we've been here twice already and i can't stop craving this food. I'm in love with their schmutzy fries which have a lot of pastrami bites loaded on top of a bed of freshly fried fries and cheese sauce. It's almost like a New Yorker's version of Poutine. Also had a pastrami sandwich on Rye with some Russian Slaw inside the sandwich and the meat was so flavorful and cooked with care. I'm usually not the biggest deli fan, but for this place I'll bend over backwards to eat their sandwiches anytime. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and helpful in offering suggestions. Their OJ, freshly squeezed, wouldn't expect otherwise. The only negative thing I can even say is that the menu is like reading through a dry newspaper, very BIG menu, but I guess that means the next time we visit Houston, we'll have other items to try, although I'm already going to stick with my favorite. Thanks for offering great food. We'll be back.:)

WOW! All around unmeasurable staff perfect food crazy good. And the menu is pretty funny but bring your wallet it's worth it!

Hungarian Goulasch tastes the same as my grandmother's recipe! Delicious, high quality food. My family ordered wildly different things, which all arrived at the same time, completed perfectly. Our server was a delight- she was efficient, kind and funny. A top notch meal.

Amazing place, but make sure you come incredibly hungry. The portions were too much for 2 AND we brought half of it home! Even the leftovers didn't last long though.

I’m a costumer for the last 12 years. This place has a huge menu but you can’t beat the pastrami … the best in town for sure.

Oh wow, wow, wow. This restaurant popped up on my social media feed probably two months ago, and I’ve been dying to try it. We live out in the ‘burbs of NW Houston so it was a whole trip, you know? And it is a trip I will definitely make again!

The menu is absolutely massive, but our server Greg was amazing and helped us get familiar with it. He patiently answered questions and made some fabulous recommendations, even bringing us some samples of the pastrami and corned beef to try before we ordered. (They’re both to die for, by the way!)

The food is top notch and the portions are HUGE, but the service is just really above and beyond. Greg was a fine-dining tier server but with a much warmer, more relaxed and relatable vibe. He knew that menu inside and out, and he knew how to read us, making conversations and asking questions to help us get thing *we* wanted instead of making canned, impersonal recommendations. He manicured the table, prebussed, didn’t rush us but never neglected us - again, just a cut above.

I had the brisket served between latkes and my husband had a pastrami sandwich, while my 12 year old stuck to what he knows best and enjoyed eggs, bacon, and a waffle. (They serve breakfast all day, which is basically my love language.) We also ordered an everything bagel and Nova salmon with capers and all shared that as an appetizer. Everything was phenomenal. And don’t sleep on their sides, either - the potato salad especially is really unique and delicious.

When I go back I want to give their egg salad a try, and I also want to dig into some cheese blintzes on a future visit. Oh, and matzo ball soup. And the meatballs sound amazing, too. I mean, I want to try everything - I wish I had four stomachs like a cow so I could just plow right through the whole menu, hahaha!

Just go eat here. It’s fabulous. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while and definitely worthy of “destination restaurant” status.

My favorite deli in the world! Bogdon is the best waiter ever.top notch service, attitude, enthusiasm and entertainment! I love this place sooo much we go there every time we get to Houston! Ordered lots to go as well been enjoying every bite this week! If you can't get there have them ship to you!

Everything here is top notch! The corned beef tastes just like the kind I had growing up and made tons of childhood memories come surging back. It was a nice little walk down memory lane.
My husband loved his Reuben Frank and fries.

Kenny and Ziggy's will always be a great experience because I had lunch there on my first visit with a great friend whom I hadn't seen in years. OK, i love a great pickle and oh man there on the table as an appetizer? I ordered the reuben and that sandwich must be shared or come packing an appetite. Awesome venue, great service. Want to return one day.
