Kenny's Burger Joint - Frisco

Kenny's is as advertised - a burger joint. Great burgers, genuine "joint" atmosphere, including small bar. Love all the Animal House quotes on the wall. Amazing sweet potato fries. Disability parking requires a bit of walking if you need it.

I will be recommending Kenny's to anyone that will listen! Starting with the service, everything was top notch. I ordered a martini. It came in a frosty martini glass, which the waiter replenished when he saw it was no longer cold. We had the BBQ burger and Juicy Lucy. Sure, the BBQ burger is huge, but I took the buns off and ate the rest the next day. The brisket was to die for. The meat was moist and tender, cheese was melty, and buns were soft. 10 out of 10, recommend! The queso was delicious also.

I've been coming here for years and if you live in DFW you probably don't need reviews to know Kennys is great- but just in case here it is! Kenny's is my go-to burger place in the metroplex. They make a mean burger, and for a long time my order was always a wedge salad with a burger patty cooked medium. My current favorite is actually an Asian salad with seared tuna on top (yes at a burger spot). Also, I can never come without ordering tater tots! Chris and Travis are awesome behind the bar, Colton and all of the other servers have been great as well when we sit in the dining room. You won't be disappointed if you come here!

With 47 million views, I am so happy to share this location. This is the go-to for the best hamburgers in the metroplex, hands down great tasting and freshly cooked to order. This is a place to also enjoy the ambiance and great music in the background.just excellent.

Kenny's is a great burger experience! If you want a high quality burger with some great fries or a large tasty onion ring tower.this place delivers. There are other menu choices like a good steak sandwich or salads etc.but you really come here for the burgers. Small bar area with some TVs and some table seating if you get here early enough to squeeze in as it's a popular hangout. Plenty of booths and tables to enjoy your delicious burger style of choice. I recommend the Black and Blue or the Kenny's Smoke House with a stack of Onion rings!

When I visit my son in Frisco, Kenny’s Burger Joint is fast becoming our go to place to dine. Not knowing the menu that well, our waiter, Jason, was more than happy to answer our questions and offer suggestions when we asked. The chicken sandwich, royale burger and fries were a hit and we received our food in a timely manner. Jason’s service was excellent and he made the 3-4 tables he was serving all feel like they were the only table he had. He was personable, and knowledgeable of the menu and we received our meal in a timely manner. We will definitely be back and I’m crossing my fingers Jason will have a table in his section! It was a great experience.

Went in for the first time today as we live in Rowlett (you know by Sapphire Bay the billion dollar project going in that could use a Kenny's burger). Everything was spot on, our service from Leah was amazing. Yes I took down her name for this review. Ordered a custom burger which I call the "cheese bomb". I had them make me a juicy Lucy, add a slap of cheese on top and cover in queso. Add grilled onion and jalapenos and your are good to go. Shared a loaded fries, good lord that bacon is amazing. Daughter had a chicken sandwich as big as her head and son had kids menu and really liked that idea of being able to get a small sundae. Everything was great, prices are barely more than eating at fast food. Definitely will be back.

To the owners, hit me up here and I'll give you my business email to get you some beard oil or natural made soap on me. Do not change this concept it's a smashing success.

Jason, our server, was fantastic and offered excellent recommendations! Then he asked how we like our burgers cooked! Yay! They came out perfect! Juicy and the flavors explode in your mouth!

Not sure how they do it. Place is always busy, but we always get a table or seat at the bar. Beer is fresh and love the ice cold glasses. Their burgers are worth it and we always get the fried pickles to start - delicious! My wife loves the salads and we split the blue cheese wedge with a turkey burger last visit. Perfect after the pickles. Staff makes you feel like you're at home and familiar. This is a can't go wrong option!

Food was great. I wasn't expecting the quality and portion size for the low price of the burgers and appetizers. It was very fulfilling. Our server was also amazing and everyone was very kind as well as helpful. The atmosphere was lacking, but very chill.

I tried this burger place nearby and the food was decent, service good, although it took a very long time to get seated. The prices over 10 bucks for a hamburger some as much as 17 bucks were a bit high for the quality of food I received and honestly kind of small. The fries were brought out cold and the hamburger mediocre at best quality wise. The meat was super thin and had more of a ground steaky like texture instead of ground beef and didn't really have very many veggies on it. Didn't see what all the hype was about honestly.

Update: after complaining about the quality of the food and the poor experience I had the owner reached out via email and asked to make it right but didn't follow through. It was just for show. I attempted to reach out at the email he provided about 3 or 4 times but still no word. It's ok. I won't be going back.

The Old Fashioned double meat burger was really delicious, and the tater tots are served with a sprinkle of salt which adds a nice flavor to them.

Our server was a little slow and didn’t follow up with us on refills and kind of just disappeared for a bit while we were there.

Overall a good place with delicious burgers.

Love this one! The Plano one is also good but there's something more intimate abkut this one. Maybe this location is a bit more intimate, but the result is that the team is more into it and I just love this location. Nothing wrong with Plano, and I've actually been there way more often. Both are great but this one is my fave. Definetly top 3 burgers in Frisco.

I've been putting a lot of thought into this and feel comfortable in saying that Kenny's has the tastiest burgers I've ever had. I don't know if it's the seasoning or the cooking method, but the beef itself is really good. It doesn't need to be bailed out by extra ingredients, although I'm sure the other burgers they serve are just as good. The tater tots are really good as well. So much so that I'll keep eating them even when I'm full; crispy and salty perfection. The staff are always friendly and service is great. I recommend getting there before the dinner rush because if not you'll be waiting.

My friend and I came for a quick bite. The drinks weren’t that great, which is why I docked a star. It felt weird that there were ice chips floating in the drink… But the people were nice, it was a relaxed environment, the food was good, and I would go again.

Whenever my family and I visit we are always satisfied. Food is consistent and very tasty. Good quality ingredients. Service is typically great, and the atmosphere is fun and lively. Due to distance, we don't come here a lot, but probably at least 3 or so times a year and have never been disappointed. The only suggestion is that the wait staff were better at mentioning specials. They write it on the wall but we always forget to look. The last time we ordered then realized the special after the fact and thought we would have liked to try it. If it's not on the menu the staff should mention it before orders are placed.

It is very dark. From the photos we were hoping it was a little more 50s diner feel.
The onion rings were huge. The sweet potato fries were the winner though.
Kids meal create your own sundaes were the absolute show stopper however. The girls loved checking ask the boxes to what they wanted.they didn't even notice it wasn't caramel!

Wow! Excellent burgers! Every burger I tried was out if this world! Moist, Juicy, Fresh buns/bread, no fillers in the meat, cooked absolutely perfect. Philly Cheese Steak burger, Patty Melt, Chili Cheese burger, and Juicy Lucy burger were incredible. Parmesan Truffle fries were also excellent. Excellent atmosphere for a burger joint. Service has been outstanding! Update: Service suddenly got very worse after they got rid of a couple long time waitresses.

This place has gone straight down hill. My burger was smashed because it was loose in my to go bag, the $8 slice of pie was smaller than it has ever been. So much grease on the onion rings it pooled at the bottom and made them all soggy. This use to be my go to, now its not better than McDonalds. It’s extremely obvious from reading other reviews that this is a consistent problem with the takeout orders.
