4One star ONLY because I had to in order to post. This review process is the most RIGGED process that I have ever seen. Appraiser in informal hearing has NO authority to reduce the amount assessed. Unequal valuation abounds in my neighborhood and this appraisal district. Talk about disparate treatment. The office and appraisal district are NOT user friendly in any way.
Property appraisal is a scam and the volunteer board members are just a rubber stamp for the county to steal from homeowners. 22% increase in 1year.
Independent and unbiased certainly does not describe the ARB of Kerr County.
Don’t waste your time.
Hire a professional to represent you in your protest hearing.
These folks are super friendly and very helpful. I’ve called several times and they always find the answers I need. Based on other reviews it looks like Kathy is just one of those above and beyond kind of people
