I had a great experience with Dr Ju, he was caring, pleasant, and explained my procedure in a way I could understand, I was happy with my surgery, and my office visits. I would recommend Dr. Ju to family and friends and will continue to see him in the future. I give him a five star rating.

After receiving 2 rounds of injections in my back from Texas Back institute in Rockwall I am back to a full range of motion without any pain in my back or down my leg. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has back issues. Everyone was so professional and kind and made my experience there so much more comfortable.

I went to Dr. Ju after I had been in pain for six months. During that time, I had lost feeling in my right leg and foot, could only sleep for 1-2 hours at a time on my stomach, or stand. These positions hurt, but anything else was between a 7-10 on the pain scale, and were virtually unbearable. I couldn’t sit, rotate, bend, or really any other movement. My wife was having to tie my shoes in the morning and help me get dressed. As a 34 year old I could not believe I was in such a state given I’m not an unhealthy guy. I exercise every once in a while, eat alright, not overweight, and could not explain what was happening.

I initially saw an Orthopaedic Specialist in Forney, where I did physical therapy for 3 months along with a handful of spinal injections. I also tried massages and chiropractors, as recommended by the ortho/PT office. They did nothing to help.

I wondered if this would be my new normal. Would I never be able to drive again? Play with my dogs? Work on my cars or in the yard?

I finally bit the bullet and met with Dr. Ju at TBI in Rockwall. After an office visit, he was able to see the pain I was in and determine the root cause. We scheduled surgery for my lower back.

I went into the hospital at about a 8-9 pain scale on the day of surgery. I woke up and immediately was feeling better. Going home that day I was at a pain of 4, but finally with some limited movement. I slept on my back for the first time in 6 months. It was heaven.

Within a day or two I was getting my movement back, just needing to be gentle as instructed by Dr. Ju. At the two week follow up I was about 1-2 on the pain scale.

I’m now at my 3 month follow up and I’m barely feeling any pain. I continue to follow Dr. Ju’s instructions to letter and they make such a difference.

I’m not sure where to begin. But Dr. Ju was my second opinion in regards to lower back pain. When we first met the first thing he asked me was “How can I help you” that stuck with me. After that I explained my symptoms I was having in my back, he heard me out and he replied with surgery should not be our first option that he will do more testing and figure out our next step. Unfortunately, my condition required surgery. I was scared, didn’t know what my outcome would be… but with reassurance and positive thinking from Dr. Ju I made my decision to move forward with the operation. I’ve been in recovery for about 11 months although my recovery wasn’t an easy road at first. I’m now feeling like myself getting stronger, to where I will forget I even had surgery. I am 34yr old male that began to lose the inner dog, the fight inside of me was getting weaker but thanks to Dr. Ju I’m getting all that back! Going to see Dr. Ju this past spring after more than three years of pain was life changing. My only regret is not doing it sooner. I had a bilateral pars fracture and needed a disc replacement at L5-S1. You can see my new back below. My experience here with Dr. Ju has been amazing. I was told by some don’t let them touch your back. But it was the best thing I have ever done. I don’t have anymore pain at all. Dr. Ju is the best.

I had neck surgery approximately 1 year ago. I had extensive damage to my C4-C7. I was having tingling and numbness down my arms and especially my right hand. Dr. Ju was so thorough in giving me details, a plan of action, and explained the consequences if not treated. I had immediate relief of the tingling and numbness after the surgery. His staff has been easy to work with, and extremely helpful if I had questions. I have and will continue Dr. Ju and his staff to anyone experiencing neck/back pain issues. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

My surgery was a lumbar microdiscectomy due to a sports related injury. Dr. Ju explained everything on what to expect since this was my first ever surgery. Obviously a back surgery is a stressful event, but Dr. Ju was a calming presence and I felt reassured knowing he was the one doing the procedure. I will contact him again in the (hopefully unlikely) event that another back surgery is needed further down the road. I can't recommend him enough.

I am normally a very active person, always doing something and suddenly my life changed drastically when I injured my back, I became disabled due to herniated disc in my lumbar spine, the severity of the pain kept me confined in my bed, I felt very helpless and depressed. One of my relatives recommended him because he had good outcomes from his surgery. I was nervous about it but I decided to go and see him because I couldn’t tolerate the pain anymore.
Dr. Ju is wonderful, brilliant surgeon, down to earth and very nice.
When I woke up in the recovery room I couldn’t believe it, I was pain free, no numbness in my leg, that was the most wonderful feeling in the world.
I am able to stand straight, walk and do all the things I used to do without pain.

I had neck surgery 3 weeks ago with great results. No pain due to surgery recovery was easy I would highly recommend spine surgery to anyone in pain with Dr Ju. Never took a pain pill

I can’t thank Dr Ju and his team enough for getting my back to a functioning state. I feel sooooooo much better than I did before he performed a spinal fusion on back a year ago. I was suffering a really bad pain coming from an herniated disc (L4&L5) that was causing a pinch on my sciatic nerve bothering my right leg all the way down till the toes making me walk like a zombie. The same day that Dr. Ju did the surgery I get back to live again, I walked out of the hospital walking normal just with 2 or 3 hours after the surgery. This was my first surgery and I was really scared, but the whole Dr. Ju’s team did an excellent job since the beginning till the end. I for sure recommend him, if you are suffering for this problem and you want to sleep again for more than 8 hours without any pain (you know what I’m talking about), you will need to visit him for real. My experience with Dr Ju and his staff was outstanding! I highly recommend him if you need any type of back surgery. Dr Ju is very professional in all aspects. He took the time to communicate with me all that was going to happen before, during and after surgery. Answered all of my questions and helped me feel at ease the whole time. I am very happy with the results of my surgery. I came in with a pain level of 10 and six weeks post surgery I am at a level 1 and still making progress. I’d been living with back and neck pain for years. I’d seen a few doctors that just dismissed my concerns and pain. Dr. Ju took time and listened to all of my concerns and did the exams needed to diagnose my problems. I had low back and neck surgery done with Dr. Ju. Both went perfectly. I was so lucky that he’s one of the only doctors nearby that does disc replacement. I recommend cervical disc replacement with Dr. Ju instead of cervical fusion to anyone that is a candidate. Dr. Ju, his P. A. Matt, and all of his staff are fantastic! If you have back or neck pain go see them!

I had been experiencing neck, shoulder/arm, and headache pain for a few years my doctor referred me to Doctor Ju at the Texas Back Instutute in Rockwall Texas. Doctor Ju determined I suffered from cervical spinal cord impingement in 3 places and he performed 2 level ACDF surgery on my neck and the surgery went great. I no longer suffer from the above mentioned pain anymore. He and his staff did a wonderful job and I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend him if you need any kind of spinal surgery.

Dr. Ju made me feel like my concerns were valid and worthy of being discussed even though I had already had surgery with a different surgeon. If you’re nervous or skeptical bc you’ve never had surgery or, like me, you had a surgery go wrong you need to see Dr. Ju! I had neck/spine surgery due to pain in my arm and shoulder. I came out not being able to look up or down and the surgeon kept brushing me off. I was super worried that it would be a life long issue. Dr. Ju looked at what needed to be corrected and explained all my options. Honestly, it’s a quality of life thing and I got my quality back. He corrected the issue and has been with me every step of the recovery process. I just wish I had acted sooner because I didn’t have to stay in pain as long as I did.
