KFC, Weatherford TX

They make you wait at the drive through order machine for 5 min before taking your order. It’s like they are understaffed and can’t get the line outside and inside taken care of at the same time. Terrible terrible service. People seem to hate working there

My main complaint is that they forgot my 8pc chicken tender. My other complaints include being told by the store manager, that they could not exchange my 8pc original chicken for another 8pc original chicken. I was told that there was no way they would exchange it because there was nothing wrong with that portion of my order. It was 100% completely the store's fault my 8pc original chicken would be soggy by the time I could go up to the same location, get the 8pc chicken tender they forgot to put in the bag, and return home to eat my meal. On top of all that the fries were over-salted. This was an unacceptable customer experience.

The wait time at this location is horrendous. They continue to fill order in the drive through and do not start on individuals dining in, until the drivethrough is clear. The location is not properly staffed and the anxiety placed on the workers is translated to the customers dining in. Likely will not be dining at the location again.

This is the first time I have tried this KFC. Overall experience wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I did the quick pick up by ordering online and it made ordering faster.
When we got the food home the food was lukewarm and the drinks were watered down. The best thing out of all of the food we got was the chicken nuggets. We also got the chicken sandwiches, one of them was made correctly, but the other one was just 2 chicken strips on the bun. I was very disappointed in that, but I gave them a call and they put me down to get a free one next time. I don't know that I will be going back to get my free sandwich seeing as I woke up this morning with food poisoning. I had the review at 3 stars, but this is the worst food poisoning l've had so they only deserve 1 star. Don't eat here unless you want food poisoning.

I watched a gentleman helping to clean a drawer out, with the manager and then without washing hands started to wait on customer. I had a wonderful young lady named Tamanaca wait on me. The food was fresh and hot. This man's name was Jason. I have worked for KFC for 5 years and I know the policies and procedures.

Chicken is always great. Service was good. Has decent amount of different options for just a snack or a family meal. Always loved KFC.

Couldn’t get a simple nugget combo correct. Ended up with a 3 piece combo. Go anywhere else

Picked up a 5 piece tender meal and 2 piece combo for dinner. Only 4 tenders in the box, one of them completely undercooked and raw in the middle. 2 piece was not crispy. Fries were already cold. This place needs to be shut down.

The past couple of times I have been has been horrible. It use to be good but not anymore and the chicken is not crispy and the pot pie was mostly crust nothing on the inside. They need to stop changing stuff and go back to the old way. Way over priced for the quality.

3rd time is not a charm. They close early often (30 minutes or more). They make people that choose to come inside wait until they fulfill all the drive-through orders no matter when they drove up. Rude staff is always complaining about being understaffed. Do not go to this location unless you want to spend an entire day waiting for one order. Too bad Weatherford can't get anyone to manage the store.

The food was good. It was fresh. I waited for fresh pot pies. Lauren was the m.o. D, and she was super sweet, offering me a drink and something to snack on if I wanted while I waited.

Should have been an easy five but due to the dried out chicken nuggets had to go down to four.

We got the four piece chicken meal…The pieces of chicken were so small, makes me wonder if the chickens were baby chicks! We used to love KFC…now just feel like we’re being “ripped off”. Very disappointing. Won’t be going back.

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews! The lobby was open, I went in, and it was a very clean store and the ladies working were very nice. Nice perk is the tea was good, unlike a lot of places in Weatherford. I went in the afternoon. Food was decent.

Pretty much worst KFC in the WORLD! Seriously I ordered to take home for family and no one wanted it because it looked so bad. Drove 15 minutes to return it and get new order of which I was told by manager it supposed to look like that. Said I would take pictures to ask corporate office. 20 seconds to run out to truck get phone and they threw in trash. No pictures allowed I guess. No wonder the awful reviews and KFC Website says looking for 3 new managers. New 20 piece bucket, family of 7 and 4 pieces got eaten. No not this one again!

Sadly, my original review is no longer accurate. This particular franchise has taken a hard nose dive. Not sure if it is local management, regional management, or something else. Orders consistently wrong. Rude service. Food preparation that is a shadow of its former self. Chicken almost always overdone, especially white meat which is consistently dry and tasteless. After several poor visits, we have written this KFC completely off our food options list. Will check them out again sometime in the future to see if they have gotten their act together.

There are some fast food chains that are pretty much the same no matter where you go - great quality control. E.g. Whataburger. And then there is KFC. This franchise is really hit-or-miss. Some stores are horrendously bad. But when you find one of the 10%, it is some of the best fried chicken anywhere.

The Weatherford TX location is one of the good ones. I have had meals here where the chicken tasted almost good as it did decades ago, before KFC switched from solid shortening to soybean oil almost 15 years ago. I like my white meat, original recipe, fresh, and not over-cooked. This store nails it more often than not. The fact that they have a steady stream of customers doesn't hurt, as helps ensure cooked product is fresh, and not lounging under a heat lamp for an hour.

Aside from the chicken, they also do a knock-out job on their bowls. Plenty of gravy and chicken. This is another area where many KFCs fall short.

If any complaint, it would be regarding the tiny size of wings. But that is overall issue with KFC, and not particular to this store.

The previous Weatherford location was - not good. Management was shoddy, and quality was very poor. It closed years ago for a reason. Let's hope this store keeps building upon whatever they are currently doing right.

Went through drive-thru. Ordered 4 bowls. 2 spicy, 2 original. When we opened our food, all 4 were spicy. Not happy.

Went there in the evening inside was closed went through drive up repeatedly said my order 16 piece chicken no legs 4 potatoes with gravy.
Ask when paying for it if they got it right.
Got home with 1 potatoe 1 gravy 1 coleslaw 16 piece of chicken.
They did make it right though and gave me my order when I called for free so went and picked it up a few days later

They close around 7 30 pm but says 10? Either they need new staff or fix there online stuff
