16Great food and great ambience. The whole staff was so welcoming. Would really recommend this place if you are looking for good vegetarian food.
We tried this for the first time. Awesome food and amazing service. Our server Hafiz was amazing. He asked us to try their baingan bharta which was just delicious. Never had such bharta before.
First time. My family and I went for the lunch buffet. My super picky kids and wife loved the chicken masala. I am a vegetarian lots of options and without hesitation I can say it was in the top two meals I have ever had in my life. Staff is super friendly. Waiter brought out Nan that had pistachios and honey in it that was one of the greatest things I have ever had. The best way to end a fast. Highly recommend.
Food excelent staff very friendly price is very good is my first time in I will come back over and over
Food taste wise was alright, I was expecting much more flavors. But overall, was a good experience.
Excellent Indian Restaurant with delicious food and fantastic service. My server was extremely attentive, made excellent recommendations, and made the meal an excellent experience.
I had the Lamb Korma (hot) and a beer he recommended. The Korma was delicious and the beer recommended paired perfectly with it. I highly recommend this as it is a great meal at a fair price.
One of the best Indian restaurants within the inner loop. They clearly strive to cater to a wider American audience while keeping the cuisine authentic—and succeeds beautifully doing so. It’s the serving staff, however, and the welcoming atmosphere they’ve created that brings me back on a fairly regular basis.
Wishing you the best, Team Khyber—looking forward to many more years.
Food was amazing, it is a buffet so you will be stuffed quickly, it's a very nice small humble restaurant.
I have tried a lot of Indian restaurants and this one is my favorite! Make sure you try the samosas. If you have a pup, their patio is dog-friendly!
I have been dining at Khyber for over 25 years. Khyber is not only my favorite Indian restaurant in Houston but globally as well. Always outstanding food and service! Plus they make the best Baighan Bharta in the world!
Wine was available bottle or glass, the economical choice would be to just get a bottle its only a few more dollars than a glass. They add gratuity to your bill, so tipping is taken care of. The chicken curry was delicious and the naan bread was in abundance. It was a nice meal and decent atmosphere.
12/4/22 This was First and last time, Buffet was total Disappointment not worth $22.95, it was like basic North-Indian food 101 not many options and fake boneless Tandoori chicken certainly catering to taste of the individuals of the area, No surprise basic kheer and gulab jamun for dessert, I am not new to North-Indian cuisine, Me and my spouse were sitting in a table for 2 by the window, it was so disrespectful waiters started sliding together some tables right next to us for a large noisy crowd without regard!
Didn't Communicated at the beginning of our meal about this, Me and my spouse had to relocate to a different table, As a topper restaurant needs more of a North-Indian feel, And Need to get rid of the Mediterranean back ground music, Its supposed to be North Indian!
Absolutely love this place! Always fresh, friendly, and authentic food! Wonderful place to share a meal, flavors, and enjoy family together!
I loved this place.the okra is amazing.the kofta was great and the spinach kept me coming for more.try this place out people.
We're long-time patrons of Khyber and enjoy every experience with this restaurant. The food is exceptional, and the staff is always friendly, courteous, and attentive. The marquee messages and social commentary are also a special laugh-out-loud treat, even when merely driving by.
Delicious dinner (and dessert) paired with amazing service! We got garlic naan, mughali korma and butter chicken which were excellent pairings if you’re sharing. For dessert got a mango sorbet which was so flavorful and refreshing, I’d love to go back just for that. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the shining star was our waiter (wish I had gotten his name to give recognition) was personable and helpful. Would love to explore and try more of their dishes.
Bummed don’t live in town, but definitely will stop back by when returning to Houston.
