Kids 'R' Kids of Camino Bandera, San Antonio TX

My daughter has been coming here since she has been about 14 months old. She absolutely loves it between her teachers and the old director. The new one, Shiela is doing a great job through the transition shuffling staff around. They host lots of events which is fantastic. The location is also military friendly and are part of the childcare aware program.

Edited to add: In response to YOUR response, there was absolutely no effort made to resolve things. With a change of teacher (which happened the same day he was kicked out) things would probably have been ok. The main issues here were you calling us liars when we brought issues to your attention, cutting off camera access that had previously been approved after we expressed concerns, and kicking our grandson out without a warning for NO fault of his own. Very shady dealings indeed…

When Lisa Lyons was in charge this place was wonderful. As soon as she left (for a much deserved promotion) things went downhill. Lisa was a warm, caring, positive person and positivity was contagious. The new director (Sheila) is vindictive and cold. Here is *exactly* what happened with our grandson:

When our grandson was first enrolled here a while back, we were granted camera access because his father is not involved and we have medical power of attorney and we are his alternative caregivers since his mother works full time and goes to school full time. There had been NO issues up until recently where we noticed issues with one teacher in particular. We witnessed ourself as she had aggressive mannerisms towards our grandson (NO physical abuse, just the way she did things, her gestures, etc) and we witnessed her putting him in time out for 30 min when the policy is one minute per year (he’s 3 so it should have been 3 min). He would cry and scream when he had to go into her class and he’d beg to go to Ana’s class (who is amazing! Thank you Ana for being wonderful). We brought up these concerns and we were called liars and had our camera access taken away. Our treatment since the complaints has been abhorrent and it’s a shame she is ruining what was a great daycare. Anyway, his mom started looking around at other daycares and somehow this place found out and heard that she had complained about the time out issue. When we went to pick him up (Aug 29) we were told that was his last day because he was kicked out. Anyone with little kids knows that change is hard so this is going to have a negative impact on him (which I know they don’t care about). I just feel bad for him and I hope that they get new leadership soon.

This place was the best when Lisa managed. However, recent management changes (Sheila) are horrible. We have our Grandchild 50% of the time so we had camera access to watch him during the day. After a change of teachers and complaints about him, we started to watch the camera throughout the day. One day he was in time out for approximately 30 minutes which is against their policy. After we complained the day care turned vindictive and called us liars. Then we lost camera access, after two years of use. They also turned off my daughters camera rights. My daughter started to look at other daycares, and once they found out they said today is his last day and is no longer welcome here. It’s a shame as we used to love this place, amazing how one person could destroy a place.

I just have to say, my kid's daycare teachers are simply amazing! Mrs. Kelsey, Mrs. Jasmine, and Ms. Vanessa been so helpful and patient with taking care of my son. They even helped with potty training! They also are always making sure my little one is comfortable throughout the day and send me updates throughout the day. Plus, they always have such fun activities and crafts planned for the kids. My child always comes home happy and is always excited to go into his classroom during drop-off. I feel so fortunate to have such skilled and caring teachers looking after my child.

Absolutely love this place! The staff are amazing and so sweet! I love the that the environment is focused on safety as well as education. And I love that they truly love children!

Brought my first baby here at 2 months and the relief of them getting my child on a proper sleeping schedule helped tremendously, my child gets so excited to be dropped off here and the staff is amazing will highly recommend. The camera access is a perk but the attention to detail on the app that updates you on feeding schedule and potty details is amazing!

I cannot rate this school high enough. This place has been amazing, my wife and I are so thankful that our girls are able to be enrolled here. Ms. Iliana took care of our daughter as an infant and the love and attention she gave her was as if she was her very own. Ms. Gaby, Ms. Sabrina, Ms. Destiny, and Ms. Lori have been all been WONDERFUL caring for her as she has grown into a toddler. They has taught her so much, and always notifying us of any emergencies. They are amazing at communicating with us and we love seeing the videos and pictures they post throughout the week. My wife and I are really grateful to see how happy she is with all her teachers. Ms. Celeste, the director is so awesome, understanding and caring. She is such a sweet person and she will always do what’s best for the teachers and students. We really love this school so much. Their summer program is awesome for out oldest child. They have done so many activities this and each day is an adventure for our eldest daughter. Ms. Lesley has taught our daughter so much and treats her like one of her own as well. All the teachers in this school from the front office Ms. Sheila, Ms. Evelyn, infants, toddlers, and pre-k, are loving, caring and professional. They will always do what’s best for all the students. We Love them all and we are thankful we chose them while looking for a preschool for our girls.

Our son Theo has been attending Kids R Kids for almost a year now and we’ve loved it.
It really is structured more as a school than a daycare with learning activities and interactive schedules.
The director, Lisa, puts an incredible amount of time and effort into making sure that the kids have a safe and valuable experience.
Our son was born extremely premature and we enrolled him to try to help with his development. The progress he’s made is nothing short of a miracle and it’s in large part due to Lisa and Kids R Kids.
Within the first few days, she knew his name and had suggestions on what we could work on with him at home. She took the time to know him and make sure his needs were being met while doing the same with every other kiddo I saw her interact with (all the while running the whole school).
Likewise every member of the faculty—from the front desk to teachers to the kitchen staff—has the same attitude and approach.
Over the past year my wife has been doing a residency as an emergency medicine doctor and I’ve been busy taking the LSAT and applying to law schools, there is absolutely no way we could’ve done it without Lisa and everyone at Kids R Kids. They have literally been an answered prayer for us and we could not be happier or more grateful for them.

Kids R kids has been wonderful for my child, starting from front office with Ms Celeste Ms Lisa Ms Anakaren with all the classes that he has participated in Ms Kelsey, Ms Adrianne, and he is loving Ms Ana’s class! The patience and love they show my child is wonderful.

I’ve searched for months finding the right center for my child and I’m so relieved to find KRK. This center checked all the boxes and more for the quality and care I am seeking. Ms. Sabrina and Ms. Gaby are wonderful teachers who’ve kept me informed in real time how my child is doing daily. They’ve aided my child’s transition into daycare smoothly and it’s put a peace of mind and comfort while I work. Having camera access allows me to see how much of a fun filled day my child is having and all the activities he’s enjoying, along with pictures they share. The teachers truly express their love towards the children. The director Ms. Lisa and assistant director Ms. Celeste always greet you upon entering and are prompt with any questions or concerns you may have. The center is routinely making sure they’re following state guidelines and communication to the parents is always clear. I’m looking forward to seeing my child learn and grow with help from KRK.

I just need to say how happy I am with this facility. My son has been attending since he was six weeks old, he’s turning two next month. This last year my son has grown so much, all the things he has learned I can not take the credit for. Thanks for his awesome teaches Ms. Lorie and Ms. Yasmin. Also the Admins are amazing, very personable with each family. Thanks for all that you do!

If I could rate higher I would. This place has been amazing and I am so thankful I was able to get my kids enrolled here. Ms. Gaby and Ms. Sabrina have been WONDERFUL. My son moved to their classroom from one of the baby rooms and they have been so helpful with him and I both adjusting to the change. They are awesome at communicating and I love seeing the videos and pictures they post throughout the week it really makes me feel better to see he’s happy and okay while I am in class or at work. I also have to mention Holly who was his first teacher at this school who took great care of my baby while he was in the baby room. Lisa, the director is so awesome. She is such a sweet person and she literally goes above and beyond for holidays and events. I love this daycare so much. I hope none of them ever leave. Also their summer program is awesome for my oldest. The cameras are a plus because you can check on your baby when you want. Love them all and I’m thankful I chose them while looking for daycares for my kids.

My Son has been attending Kids R Kids for about 2 yrs now and we absolutely love it. I've never seen so much love from Teachers and Directors towards him. Everyday when Dad or myself pick him up from school he tells us nothing but good things about his day. Ms. Iliana has been an amazing, loving and fun Teacher to my Son. She's so patient when it comes to potty training the children. Ms. Kaitlyn has been so loving, caring and supportive on my Son's transition to her class.
We also have our 10 month old Daughter in Suite 150. Ms. Valerie, Ms. Monica, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Vanessa have been so loving, caring and patient to my Babygirl. As a Parent I love watching my kids being greeted with love not only by their Teachers but from Ms. Lisa & Ms. Celeste, and we love that they always have a good day at school. I really recommend Kids R Kids Camino Bandera. You won't regret it!

We love Kids R kids! Everyone is so sweet! It’s been such a great experience our kids love going and they love their teachers. Ms. Lisa the director is great! We love Ms. Amanda Ms. Monica Ms. Valerie Ms. Anna and everyone who is part of the kids R kids family!

My 9 month old has been attending kids r kids since she was 4 months, and I just love how much love the teachers give. Valerie is always so caring and attentive. Amanda is just so amazing with my baby. When I pick her up, she's always laughing and smiling with her. Monica does a great job ensuring my baby is getting lots of hugs. I can't say how happy I am with the teachers in room 150. As a dad, it feels good not having to worry while my daughter is being taken care of because she's on good hands. Thank you all for everything you do!

I love Kids R Kids! I truly feel blessed that they are in such a loving and caring environment. The director Lisa is amazing and truly loves, and cares for all the kids and her teachers. That reflects and shows in the teachers there. Both my 2 year old (room 300) and 9mon old (room 150) attend. The teacher Mrs. Kelsey, & Ms Vanessa (rm 300) is great with my 2 yr old. The curriculum is so good and my daughter does so many activities and has learned so much. My 9 month old who’s in room 150, is always so happy and smiling when I drop her off in the mornings. She is greeted every morning with a big smile and hug by Valerie. Monica is also so nurturing with my baby and always attentive. My favorite thing is when I go to pick up 9mon old from her class and I see Ms. Vanessa playing with her and giving her hugs and kisses. Ms. Vanessa treats her as if she was her own with so much love. I cannot stress how much this makes my heart so happy knowing my two daughter are in excellent care while I am at work. I love that they have camera’s and I can go on the app to check and see how the girls are doing. I also love that they have a brightwheel app where they post all the activities for the day with each child. From the time your child eats and what they eat, to the time nap started and ended, to the diaper change, play time, and the activity they did. They even post pictures of your kids playing or eating lunch. They communicate with the parents so well and always keep me updated on everything. Ms. Celeste at the front desk does a wonderful job greeting parents and kids in the mornings and making sure they get there breakfast for the day. The events they have are memorable and thought out. Even the photos Mrs. Lisa takes of the kids individually during the holidays are beautiful and the back drops and props are the best! Kids R Kids are like family and the love and support they receive is irreplaceable. Thank you so much for all you do for daughters. From one mother to another I highly recommend Kids R Kids.

I would like thank Ms. Monica, Ms. Vanessa, Ms. Valerie, Ms. Amanda and Ms. Iliana for taking great care of my children. They are very good at what they do. They are fun, loving and sincere to my kids and my kids love them as well. They are always excited to come to school. As a parent I feel comfortable leaving them here. The director and assistant director Ms. Lisa and Ms. Celeste are fantastic at what they do and so is all of the staffs. So much fun and greet everyone when entering in and out of the school!

As a first time mom it was really important for me to find a daycare that I felt could truly care for my little one. My daughter has been at kids r kids since she was 10 weeks old and I absolutely love them! Ms. Amanda Ms. Valerie and Ms. Monica are all very attentive with her. They communicate well when something is wrong and take the time to really play with the babies. I used to check the cameras all the time but I don’t as often because I feel so comfortable with the care they provide her. Definitely recommend to first time parents.

I feel extremely blessed to have found such an amazing child care center, the staff is very compassionate and kind. My daughters speech and vocabulary have progressed rapidly in such a short amount of time after being switched over to Ms. Irma’s class, she truly cares about her students and is extremely dedicated. Ms. Irma is an amazing teacher with great teaching abilities! Ms. Lisa and Ms. Celeste have also made my daughters first school experience so special by being so kind and caring towards her, welcoming her every single time she arrives.

My daughter been attending kid r kids since summer of 2022. Kids r kids was actually recommend by us Ms. Monica. We took our tour and we loved everything about it! Me and my husband knew from the recommendation from Ms. Monica we were making the right choice for our daughter. Our daughter never been to school so for her she was little nervous. Ms. Valerie was her teacher to start for her age group she was absolutely amazing with my daughter everyday when I picked her up she will tell me about her day even though she would cry and have her moments dropping her off like every child sometimes will when starting something new. Ms Valerie will always help her ease Into the classroom and made my daughter feel comfortable that I will be back at the end the day. Ms Valerie also helped my daughter complete potty training she is seriously an amazing teacher! After my daughter got moved up to advanced class she met Ms. Irma! Ms. Irma been a wonderful awesome teacher to my daughter from making sure she stayed on top of potty training and making my daughter feel comfortable in a new classroom environment. My daughter will always tell me about how awesome her day was with her teacher and friends. I will always recommend kids r kids to any family member or friends with kids cause all there teachers actually care and have a heart in there Job working with kids.
