Killen's Barbecue, Pearland TX

The food was wonderful. The brisket was fatty amd moist. The mac and cheese is the star of the show. The sausage was seasoned well. I wouldn't get the baked beans. I've had better from a can. The Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. They weren't too soft. Great rib! Hated the line but I can see why it stretches out of the door. Parking was tricky. We were lucky enough to get a spot in the actual parking lot. Overall wait wasn't crazy long.

Always good! No way you ever can go wrong with the brisket or ribs! Devil eggs to die for! Lol

This is the place to go for great tasting BBQ! My first bite of brisket put a smile on my face.

Killen's is KILLING IT!

This place really impressed me from the start. First off, their menu is yuuuuuge! A ton of items that are sure to at least have something you'd like. It was very clean and they had tons of seating inside and out.

I went during a slow Wednesday mid-afternoon after seeing a movie. Killen's is your typical style barbeque joint that basically has a big menu at the beginning of the line before you order your meats, your sides, dessert, drink and then pay for your meal.

I ordered the pork ribs, beef brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage, potato salad, brussel sprouts, and collard greens. Don't worry, I couldn't even put a dent in all that food during lunch. I ended up taking the rest home and sharing it with my wife for dinner.

Literally every item was good. Seriously. My favorite was probably the brussel sprouts. There is a sweet glaze on them with little bits of bacon. They also had a SLIGHT char but cooked perfectly. They were so freaking good. The ribs were DEEELICIOUS. That perfect snap sensation after every bite. Still very tender and seasoned very well. The potato salad was FIRE. It definitely seemed like more of a mustard-inspired potato salad. Brisket was perfect. So moist, flavorful and hearty. Collard greens had a bit of spice to them and I loved it. They also reheat well. The sausage was probably my least favorite but it was still very good.

You will enjoy this bbq, I guarantee it. Try out Killen's!

The food was horrible on top of that I paid $25 for a 3 meat plate who’s portion was suited for a child… never again! Over rated and over priced.

Killens is a really nice clean BBQ spot. The brisket is really tender and has good flavor. The BBQ chicken is kind of sweet and dry so I would skip that next time. The beef ribs were also really flavorful and tender.

The one thing that I don’t get was why is there pork in the Mac n cheese? Couldn’t order it and is probably the only side that’s worth it l.

Tried the strawberry cake and it was DELISH.

Coworkers picked me up lunch from this place and HANDS DOWN the best brisket I've ever had in my life!

No complaints about the food or service just the Ceiling Fans speed. They are on Fast speed and that makes your food cool off quick! Tried moving to other tables but all fans were on fast.

Can not say enough about this place, they just don"t have a bad item on their menu. I live in Kansas and have been to 3 bbq crawls in Texas. When I'm in Houston this is a must stop.

Killer bbq, beef rib are gigantic, brisket are moist and flavorful, pork belly burnt ends are a must. Collard greens is.

Killens is a staple in Pearland, and has expanded to other places such as stadiums and into other establishments such as their steakhouse! There is an obvious reason for all of this; their flavorful and tender brisket and bbq items. Lots of textures and the right spices are all in their long-smoked brisket. Their creamed corn was one of my favorites as it’s subtly sweet and doesn’t taste over cooked etc. I’d definitely recommend this place if you haven’t tried it for some reason.

We got the beef ribs brisket It was delicious. The meat was so tender it was just falling off the bone. You could just pull it off with your fingers and the key lime pie was to die for it. It just melts in your mouth. It was so good. I will definitely go back

Best brisket I have ever had but the real star to me was the Mac n cheese! The brisket however had amazing flavor, great bark, and was fresh as it could be. The line is sort of cafeteria style which speeds up the ordering process. A great experience and I see what the hype is about. Can’t beat the brisket!

Hands down best bbq in Texas! The sides were good too. The corn and the Mac and cheese were the best.

Food was not all that great and over priced. Place is very small on the inside. Not worth it to me, definitely not what everyone made it our to be. Not returning to this place. Pappas bbq is way better.

Decided to to pick lunch for it’s been awhile since I had really good and I’ve been here before. Simply, it wasn’t good. Going into detail, ribs were from the previous day, tasted of way over done, edges were like beef jerky. Sausage seem under cooked, meat was pink and slimy texture and the casing had no bite or snap. Rice was dry and greens were salty from what seemed like soybean paste as one of the ingredients. The only good thing about it was I didn’t order, jalapeño and the onions. Very disappointing. Plus no napkins, no napkins. Why did I even tip for if you can’t put napkins in the togo bag?

Good barbecue, pricy barbecue. Quality meats have their price and I have no problem spending the money for good quality! I had the Beef rib which was to die for. Cole slaw and bbq beans were good as well. I recommend being here early because it will be packed!
