Kimbell Art Museum reviews
10Kimball Art Museum is one of my favorite museums to visit to see the exhibitions of world-renowned artists. The exhibitions with ancient artifacts are very interesting and unique. I have never been disappointed. The staff is always very informative and polite. The design of the museum is breathtaking. I would recommend becoming a member so you can partake of all the extra special activities available.
For a high school field trip, we walked around the museum on a tour. Although I don't prefer tours over going in and visiting independently, it was definitely entertaining and informative. Beautiful pieces.
This Sunday my family and I wanted to experience Fort Worth from an artistic perspective and this was a great experience. There was a no cost for entry and my son had an opportunity to see priceless paintings and artwork and my husband and I had an opportunity to geek out a little bit on history preserved in an art form.
Enjoyed the very relaxing Happy Hour music and atmosphere. The lemon blueberry cake was scrumptious. Sauntered the museum in that area and learned about ancient artifacts.
Although the Kimbell Art Museum has a relatively small collection of around 350 works of art, they cover collections from Asia, Ancient America and Europe covering thousands of years. The buildings architecture is also unique and adds to the pleasure of a visit. The Museum also has a souvenir shop and an excellent cafe. Parking is easy and admission fees are very reasonable. A definite pleasure to visit this place.
Gorgeous gallery full of an amazing collection for hours of strolling through and learning about art.
Small museum, well curated with a mix of old and new. Complimentary entrance to its permanent gallery. Top exhibitions always showcased. Highly recommended. Beautiful inside and out.
Visiting this museum is always a pleasure, but for the first time was able to enjoy a docent tour. Beth made the experience so interesting, and future visits will be even more enjoyable because of the time she spent explaining the building and some of the artwork acquisitions.
It’s truly a disappointment the unfriendliness this museum has to the handicapped and baby stroller pushing crowd. As a member of the latter group, I was flabbergasted how challenging it was to maneuver the outdoor space. Otherwise, the place is great.
