Charles is an excellent instructor, very welcoming atmosphere and great esthetic to the place.

This place is outstanding and is a family owned business which makes it even better. Im on my 4th day of training with the coaches and they have been phenomenal. They work with you on day 1 and push you hard which I totally love. I highly recommend this place to anyone especially Vets (yes they’re a Veteran friendly business). You will get a great workout on all sessions you attend to!

Kingdom Martial Arts is an incredible experience. As a family-owned business dedicated to the art of eight limbs (Muay Thai), they welcomed me with a one-time free course. The coaches, noting my novice level, ensured I was properly equipped and focused on the basics. Their patience, professionalism, and determination to help me develop my potential left a lasting impression. I have a long way to go, but I can confidently say that I'm in good hands. I am brand new to muay thai and attended the fundamentals class. I was gonna go to a different gym at first but after seeing some of the content Charles posts online, I wanted to go to KMA and learn from a real professional. I had no expectations going into it and it turned out to be a really great experience. It was a very positive environment and everybody I talked to made me feel welcome.

I got to spend a little time with Charles to get the fundamentals down. He really paid attention to detail and I really felt like I was in good hands. Everybody I spoke to says that KMA is the best muay thai gym in San Antonio and I can see why. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish and I will definitely be going back.

I enjoyed the introduction adult class! It was a great time and they were very patient with teaching and drills. I definitely am planning on setting up a 3 month membership. Thank yall!

I first learned of Charles from seeing his online instructionals on Instagram. From seeing how and what he taught online, made me believe he is a very good teacher. So good that I flew out from California to learn from him in person.

I’ve been learning Muay Thai for over 15 years on and off, but never had a solid or good foundation of my basics. Basics such as footwork, distance and stance. Charles was able to help me improve on all of this and show me a few tricks of his own. Thank you very much Charles and the KMA team! I hope and look forward to returning sometime in the near future.

When I first walked through the doors of KMA, I was just a broken girl looking for a self defense class. Little did I know that walking through those doors changed who I am. KMA is a very welcoming and encouraging academy that has showed me I am capable of so much more. I never thought of myself as a fighter nor as someone who was capable of learning martial arts, but now I show up to every class encouraged to fight, and dedicated to become a better and stronger version of myself. Plus, the classes are exciting and leave you wanting more!
This academy is for all, and they have proved it countless of times. Everyone is welcomed with open arms, and greeted with warm smiles.

This review is for the Royal Rump classes every Saturday morning. I've been attending these classes from the start and I am so happy I found this place when I did. I went in knowing nothing and I've learned so much since. I am new here to San Antonio and it's one of the first places I found a little community of ppl who are such a joy to be around. It's an all woman's class dedicated to showing us how to defend ourselves using authentic Muay Thai techniques while ALSO getting in a killer workout that aims towards strong glutes (but really we work out our full bodies ;). I feel so very honored that I get a chance to train with these knowledgeable coaches and it's something I l look forward to every week. So worth getting up early for!

If you're looking for a tight, family-owned, professional place to learn self defense, I highly recommend Kingdom Martial Arts Academy. They also host a lot of fun events outside of the training which is a huge added plus! I wish all my girls lived here, I'd get them all to come every week with me! Whether you workout all the time, or not at all, this class is for everyone and you'll feel your strength grow more and more each class.

It is an awesome workout and you learn how to defend yourself. Bring your friends, daughters, nieces, and mothers. It is so valuable. It can save your life.
